lol yea I know.
couple of things though...
the animation in the trailer looks like a PS1 video game I hope to god that has been fixed. otherwise I'll just read. I want them to go back to the 90s anime where it looked absolutely beautiful.
Do we know where the anime Is picking up. are the they gonna start with the lost children arc or skip it?

Agreed. I hate that so much CGI is being used. I prefer hand drawn stuff in anything I watch. I guess it's cheaper. Back in the day they would cut costs by panning over a still image, I guess they just replaced that by using crude looking CGI instead.

The first 5 episode titles have been released I think on a German site. Unfortunately it looks like they may skip Lost Children because iirc the second episode title is Knights of the Holy Iron Chain. It's a guarantee that we will make it through the Conviction Arc because one of the posters had Mozgus on it.

Finished all of Durarara last night and it is probably one of my favorite shows I've seen. It got a little carried away in Durararax2 with to many characters but it was still pretty solid in the end.

And yet again we get fricked on a decent anime adaptation of berserk. Pretty disappointed in what I saw from episode 1

If you only watched the anime, and liked it, you could read the Manga. From the point of the war in the north and Pieta, the anime strays, and the ending is completely different from the manga.

I've read some fairly loud and angry bitching on /r/anime about Berserk. People truly hate it.

to be honest its terrible. It doesn't look like it was made this century with the cgi technology they use. its sad because it is probably the best manga out there (or at least of the best) and the original anime from the 90s was beautiful. for sure my top 3 list.
actually the cgi they use now looks worse than three movies made a few years ago.
on top of that the pacing was all over the place. I hope to god things start to shape up. because they have skipped the black swordsman arc and the lost children. And a lot of Guts Character development happens there.

I just don't get why berserk gets such shitty treatment when it has a better and more epic story than 99% of the schoolgirls and big boobs garbage I see out there. Or maybe it's because there's no schoolgirls and giant boobs

Hey scruffy. Did you ever get a chance to throw a complete watch list together for our little side project? Or should I just use your list in the OP and go from there? I know you stay busy, just curious.
Also, did you get to finish Grimgar? I've been hoping to hear your thoughts on it since I finished. Wondering if you found it as good as I did. I'm not as head over heels for it as I initially was, it definitely has a few quirks that could be ironed out. But it still might be my favorite show.

Fresh bump. I need a new show, the only ones I'm currently watching air new episodes on Saturday night, and I get tired of waiting all week. DB Super, Food Wars, and Hunter X Hunter dubbed. Just realized the last 3 or 4 shows I've watched outside of those 3 are reruns, and actually, HxH dubbed is technically a rerun for me.
I'm bored and going through opiate withdrawals, need something to take up my time.

Pretty much everything that's in my wheel house. I've watched a metric frickton of shows the past 2.5 years. I've almost lost count at this point, I'd have to look at my list, don't know off the top of my head.

I just got a Crunchyroll membership specifically for the Berserk simulcast and while scrolling through what's popular, there just isn't much that looks good to me. All the girly pinks and bright colors and schoolgirl outfits on every poster.

Yeah, lot of teenage girl shows.
There were 3 non action shows I really enjoyed...strangely enough. My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, Toradora, and Food Wars are all great. Though Toradora can piss you off sometimes. Hell I've even given Love Live, Madoka Magica, and others like them a shot. Honestly, the fact I just typed that sentence terrifies the hell out of me. What the frick is wrong with me?
Moving on, one show on Crunchyroll you should try is Konosuba, it's a comedy action series that makes fun of all the anime tropes in other action shows. It's worth a watch, a bit silly, but it's fun watching them poke fun at the rest of the animes out there.

That show has bookoodles of hype right now, I have this weird thing where if a show gets a ton of love on /r/anime it makes me not want to watch it.
