veryone keeps saying it’s slow, but is it good? Is it entertaining? Are they developing characters? Are they setting up big plot points with potential to go somewhere really interesting?

It’s pretty short, between intro and credits are we even getting 30 minutes? Maybe that’s an issue. Not enough happening in each episode.

Also one of the best scenes was already previewed. So I already saw it.

Liked it…

The only major fault with Rogue One was a lack of character development. Perhaps this was intentional as it was a suicide mission and the theatre would be filled with crying people at the end if they did.

They have 12 episodes. The foundations are being laid down. Character development is worlds better than Rogue One. Diego Luna is great. Skarsgard is excellent as always.

Episode 3 shows the seeds of a rebellion being planted. The Pre-Mors sent to get Cassian know they are fricked.

I’m guessing we get into the meat of it soon. Sets look great. Imagery is captivating. I’m optimistic.

It was weird that they released the most exciting scene of the premier before the premier.

Diego Luna is great though.

Don’t like him at all. He is a stiff with barely any personality. Was my least favorite character in Rogue One.

Where this show winds up at the end is Episode 3, we could have gotten there in about 10 min and you really wouldn’t have missed anything. Loads and loads of filler.

Yeah I guess the scenes from episode 3 is what had me so excited and I’m watching the first two episodes like, is this even the same show?

He’s not supposed to be immediately likable. He’s a liar and a thief with a sordid past. You should be conflicted with him right now. We’re aiming for reluctant or anti-hero here.

I know the measuring stick is Baby Yoda 30 minutes in; but, that’s not where we’re going here.

We’ve got some mystery and intrigue. A bit of tension with Bixx and Cassian. A betrayal with Timm.

I suspect with Andor we’re watching someone find themselves along the way.

I guess that’s what I expected from his character from rogue one. He’s essentially a loner with a bit of mystery. You can’t tell if he’s good or bad or what his plans are. Or he doesn’t know what he wants to be yet.

They could have done all this in one episode but I like the direction it is going.

Also stoked that we will get to see Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera.

Nine more episodes to go

Disney Star Wars shows have all felt low budget and laughably bad at times, especially Obi-Wan.

This show feels different.

After watching the first 3 episodes, it's clear that there was something different going on with the development of this show relative to other Star Wars shows. While Obi-Wan felt like it was made by a bunch of middle school kids, this show almost feels like it was made by HBO.

It's good so far, and a massive step up from Disney's previous Star Wars content.

Not sure enough people are even watching that show to even have an argument at this point.

The guy going after Cassius is such a wimp. In way over his head.
Bix is going to carry this show. That guy with her, what a loser.

Episode 3 was awesome. The ringing of the chimes then the warning of when they stop. Liked that scene. Hope the rest of the series is just as tensioned filled as this episode was.

I'll agree that the first two episodes should've been combined into 1 or simply had the first 3 be cut a bit into one episode. I really enjoyed episode 3. I thought they did a good job showing the Corpos being terrified by an entire community having a plan for this situation.

I did expect some sort of retaliation from the town after the banging stopped. Maarva seemed to imply that they should be scared when the banging stopped, but nothing came from the townfolk.

Also, Timm's death was ridiculous. It could have easily been more realistic. He sees a little blood on his girlfriend's head and he rushes into 5 or so guys with blasters drawn? What did he think would happen?

Episode 3 was solid. This has a much better tone than majority of the Disney Star Wars stuff.
