Hopefully not all a.dream. That's always such a copout for writers. Love this show. Best part is? You can kill off a character without writing them out of the show, so smooth.

Well there was definitely something to the flashes that Ben was having during the childbirth. There have also been several comments made to Ben over the course of the season that there was something wrong with him and that it was he who was going crazy. I hope that this isn't all just in Ben's head - it would be very disappointing considering the narrative so far.
Another thought - Constance knows much much more about what is going on than has been let on. I felt this was confirmed when Constance shut the front door behind Vivian and flashed a very evil countenance. I'm not sure sure if this has been discussed yet on this board (this is the first thread I've read since I fully caught up), but I'm pretty sure that Constance painted all of the crazy murals in the house - she knows more about what is really going with the house than has been revealed so far.

He wouldn't have been able to go pick up Vivien from the hospital if he was already dead
I do think he'll die next ep though
I think he might actually just kill himself so he, violet, and vivien can live there as a family forever

Everybody just assumes that the strong baby is the one fathered by Tate and the stillborn one is Ben's. What if the opposite is true? Tate obviously comes from a very poor genetic line. Constance said, "from blood and pain comes perfection." Nobody caused Vivien more pain than Ben.

Good point.
A thought: does the dead doctor's wife think she got a real baby when she was handed the stillborn baby? I guess we can take to good doctor's word that the baby was born dead but they sure swept that thing out of there with the quickness. Another dead baby to haunt the basement? Or is it alive somehow in the same way as the reanimated baby is supposed to be?

Just finished watching last nights episode and im in utter shock right now. Just a few built points about what im thinking at the moment.
- I never made the connection between the doc being the other father of one of the twins. I always thought it was Mr. Harmon & Tate that were the fathers of the twins. That really knocked me out from the jump of tonights episode
- This show has done a perfect job of taking someone who i thought was good in the beginning and showing me over the episodes how evil they really are [Tate]. I really don't feel bad for him anymore and find myself hoping that something bad happens to him
-I never ever saw Mrs.Harmon dying because of the birth and I have no idea what direction this show will go into for the final and next season now that Mr.Harmon is the only human element left in the house.
-Now of the situation with the two twins, I don't know which part freaks me out more. The fact that the doc's wife got the stillborn baby and probably took it down to the basement or the fact that Constance,the maid & hayden have the child who was born alive. The gay dude who was in the basement with violet made a perfect statement to her, "well the baby is safe from us two". I believe hayden will be giving Constance and whoever else tons of shite to get her hands on that child
In the end, this show has been absolutely awesome this season. I'm still blow away by what just happen in the last twenty minutes of the episode
