-I also think that it's going to end up with Dr. Harmon being nuts all along and making all this up to cope with killing people himself.
-Constance came to him on at least two occasions when he was sleepwalking and told him "Now is not the time." Definitely something to that and the flashes of him in the corner during the childbirth. Constance told multiple ghost that he could help them.
-I'm thinking Constance sold her soul to the devil to either have a normal kid (Tate) or become famous. She's the only one who knows everything and has not been killed other than Dr. Harmon. (Or so we think. lol)

I guess we can take to good doctor's word that the baby was born dead but they sure swept that thing out of there with the quickness. Another dead baby to haunt the basement?

I am not so sure the baby was actually stillborn, however it never cried. I also thought Violet was going actually use a banishing spell that worked on Tate, or does "go away" thing work permanently?

When the gay guy said they were going to raise the babies until the were 1 year old and then smother them so they would be perfectly cute for eternity was messed up.

I never made the connection between the doc being the other father of one of the twins. I always thought it was Mr. Harmon & Tate that were the fathers of the twins. That really knocked me out from the jump of tonights episode

Did I miss something? Why do you say the old doc was the father? I was still under the impression that the fathers were Tate/Harmon.

quote:

-I never ever saw Mrs.Harmon dying because of the birth and I have no idea what direction this show will go into for the final and next season now that Mr.Harmon is the only human element left in the house.

I'm guessing that he'll die also and next season we have someone new buy the house. Actually pretty smart because it allows them to bring in a new family with all new issues while keeping the outstanding cast of season 1.

quote:

-Now of the situation with the two twins, I don't know which part freaks me out more. The fact that the doc's wife got the stillborn baby

I'm not so sure it was actually stillborn. After all, the doc knew his wife wanted one of the babies. Easy enough to say it was stillborn and quickly hand it off to his wife.

You gotta go a few episodes back. But, Tate actually showed violet how to tell the other spirits of the house to go away. He told her that she has the ability to deal with the spirits that she wants to deal with and that she can tell them to "go away". Much like in the beginning of tonights episode when tate was playing with his tonka truck and ran into that creepy thing in the basement and the doc's wife told him to tell it to "go away!"

Please no. And considering the show has been picked up for a second season, I think the odds are against this being the case.

Me wonders whether Constance is familiar with the "black arts" or something like it and has placed some kind of spell on him. Dunno

Good point. I am reminded of Ep. 2 when Addy goes to tell Constance that "there is a bad man in that house" Constance replies "Well, he owns the house and there is nothing we can do about it" - maybe the clearest reference to a devil figure.

Edit: also the highschool cokehead chick thinks she saw the devil there

Until last night, I thought only the living could tell them to go away. Now that we know the spirits can do it to each other, I'm surprised they don't do it all the time. I wonder where it sends them? They can't leave the property, so do they just go to another room?

But see that's the thing, Violet didn't know that she was dead when tate was showing her all these new things she could do. But, I believe Tate knew all along and was hiding it from her. I don't have a clue where it sends them at all.

I also would like a timeline beginning showing what constance was like when she first moved into the house or what her first experience was with the paranormal

Yeah, how do you think Constance can go in there like a boss. She's definitely got that down pat.

Man this episode was crazy. I got chills when all the ghosts gathered for the birth.

So ep 12 is the last one? Looks like we'll have a ghost war then wrap up a great horror story. Yes, this shows that this will be one story a season kind of thing!

In a way, that kind of sucks that it could be one story a season kind of thing. Because i've kinda come attached to the Harmon family and specific ghost [I know weird]. It'll be interesting to see what happens...

They showed Tate in the preview so either it was a preview or he isn't gone for good.
I think it will come down to Tate and Constance going at it being they are the two most powerful characters.

I can't see them turning the entire cast around. Most likely in my mind is the same house with the same ghosts (+ tyhe Harmons), with a new family owning the home. There are still plenty of ghost stories to be fleshed out plus you would have new issues brought in by the new family.

The biggest difference is that you wouldn't have the same creepiness/mystery of the first half of this season when we didn't know what the hell was going on.

ETA: We definitely need a new man in the house so we can get some more of the young maid.

The Harmons did. What's another couple of suicides and murders in the grand scheme of things. If the price is low enough, some people will buy anything.

It took this long? Shooting up his high school did it for me.

I remember all that, what I was saying is when you tell a ghost to that is it permanent. Because previously, it always appeared that it was only temporary and I doubt the mother would have told her monster baby to go away forever. However, when she said it to Tate it certainly appeared to have some permanency to it.
