I'm going with 22.2 mil.

And we're going to use boxofficemojo.

Forgot to add that the budget for this thing was 154 mil.

I think they get closer to the 33.7 range.

60 million, but the 2nd weekend will see one of the largest 2nd weekend drops ever.

It'll fail because of pervasive sexism in America

It'll be neck and neck with Pets in its second week, I'll say 56 million.

It identifies as a $300m blockbuster, so that's how we should discuss it.

Since a lot of the reviews coming out are positive, I'm going to guess around 70 million. I really wanted this thing to tank though..

Then a massive drop off once word of mouth shits all over this movie.

Although I'll admit that the trailer shown before Secret Life of Pets was better than the ones I had seen before.

It's getting good reviews. It could be a case where the only people who shite on it are the ones that were going to hate it regardless of how good of a movie it is.

I don't know, but sony hasn't really marketed the movie aggressively and the reviews are all "movie sucks but saved by cast" which tells me

the movie sucks

It has name recognition going for it, so it could do really well, but the drop off will be steep

45 to 55 million.

Vanishes into the ether the 2nd week when word of mouth kills it.
