Really shocked by Lucas.

Me too. I thought Alan and Lucas had the most going for them, with Mitch close behind.

Sam - props for the starving mouse boy!

Sam has so much will power that he may just outlast Alan.. Truly amazed with his strength to keep going with the crappy situation hes in. I still feel Alan is going to take it but both are deserving.

Sam's youthfulness and stubborness may win him $500,000. I wonder if the producers edited the stuff about Mitch's mom throughout the show. It's strange how it was never brought up until last night.

Thats what I was thinking.. Probably didnt want us to see any doubt in him. Theyve made Sams situations look so poor but I wonder if its not as bad as it seems.

I had it figured that it was going to be down to Lucas and Alan. I was floored when they showed Lucas with the sat phone in his hands. Not as surprised by Mitch in that his shelter was the worst of the 4 remaining so you know he was taking the brunt of the weather.

I am certainly pulling for Alan. But Sam and Alan certainly have earned it.

Lucas was by the most innovative and probably the best suited for the challenge from a survival standpoint but his mental game was weak as fk. I think the damn mock up guitar actually depressed him instead of helping him.

Alan has a good food supply compared to Sam so I would think Alan can probably stay a lot longer without going mental. Sam's days are numbered unless he can find a food supply better than the mice.

It's going to be interesting to see how the next person that taps out reacts to finding out he just blew half a million dollars.

That would suck.

What if they didn't tell the winner that he won, Just to see how long he could last? That would be F'ed up but cool as well.

I expect next season to be even better. Hopefully with more qualified contestants. Guys tapped out way earlier than I expected this go round.

you dont' want them to last too long. You have to get the film to production.

if sam can figure out how to successfully go hunting he's got this in the bag.

never did like lucas.

alan has gotten skinny as shite lol.

honestly think it's gonna come down to sam having more body fat. he can withstand the food droughts better than alan can

Sam seemed to go on the show as a last minute decision. Kinda like sure why not, Should I bring a knife? His attitude for the most part has been great. I think he is the youngest. It's like he is there just whistling and waiting it out.

Very happy for Alan. I enjoyed how he basically didn't even realize he had won even after his wife showed up. You could tell the isolation does a supreme number on even those strongest of men.

Really hoping for a 2nd season in a new location.

Then down the line maybe a season with guys who previously tapped out to see if they've learned anything since their 1st try & can actually apply it.
