I'm pretty sure that was the point

It was utterly ridiculous and it some big misses for me (I found all the Queen stuff horribly unfunny) but I still thought it was quite funny throughout

I'm curious the age of those who thought it was hysterical.

I laughed maybe two or three times. The rest of the time I was like WTF is this shite I'm watching.

I was having a bout of insomnia last night, and after watching True Detective, Ballers and the Brink, I watched 7DiH again. I still stand by my original assessment and of course the re-watch wasn't as great as when I initially watched it, but I still thought it was pretty fricking funny. In my opinion if you can get 4 LOL moments out of 45 minutes, that's a win. I'd say for me, there are upwards of 6 or 7 LOL moments. I'd also imagine that if I were to watch it 3 years from now, my opinion wouldn't change. To me, it was a lot like "That's My Boy." Yes, very juvenile, but it's the kind of immature humor I can appreciate. I also watched the Chris Tucker stand up comeback on Netflix this wknd, and thought it was pretty horrible. Last week before watching both, I would have guessed I might feel the opposite.

I'm 30, and I watched this this weekend with two friends aged 34 and 31. We all laughed like bastards.

Granted, we were extremely intoxicated

I'm 35. I sometimes wish I was cool enough to not laugh at funny shite, but I guess I'm just cursed. Hopefully one day I can learn to take life way too seriously.

if you didn't laugh at the ridiculousness of David Copperfield appearing on Jon Snows shoulder as he was about to win, then you just suck IMO

This was one of the most fantastic satirical documentaries I've ever seen.

I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be like that.

I loved it, but I also think that kind of humor is hilarious. I can certainly see why some of the older crowd who sees a lot of the content as just gay and crude humor not funny. If you enjoy Samburg and his humor then you'll enjoy the mockumentary.

When the guy at the end is like, "we would have cared more if they were football players, but no, they played tennis, so who cares"

That was hilarious I just watched it and thought that it was great. I'm also 19 and I find that humor really funny right now lol but overall i thought it was great

It was OK. Not really what I was expecting, but it had a few moments I found pretty funny.

The way the first couple pages went on this thread I was expecting the greatest thing ever. It had its moments, but overall it was average at best. There were a few funny moments for sure though

+1
I'm not very familiar with A. Sandburg, but does he always try to outdo himself? He's awful.

I'm 27 and thought it was hilarious. But I'm not uptight. I laugh at dick jokes. And I have never been pretentious enough to classify a tv show or movie as "lazy".

I'm shocked if this is really good - it looked so retarded to me.

It's not that there are dick jokes. I thought "cock magic" and "dick in a box" were funny. It's just that these seemed pointless and put in just for a cheap laugh.

I guess that, being a married homo, Samburg is obsessed with weenies, but they were too random and it just seemed tiresome. By "lazy," I meant that they seemed not to know what to do at certain points, so they inserted some dick jokes.

It's not pretentiousness. It's just an opinion. No one's ordering you not to laugh at something.

yeah i think they tried to make a 45 minute mococumentary out of the material for a 10 minute sketch

they filled a lot of the dead air with just random gross/raunchy stuff

That was my thought as well. It was worth a watch, but I wasn't falling out of my seat laughing either. A mockumentary made in the same vein as Spinal Tap, Best in Show, etc., just not as whitty IMO

I'm 25 and found it hysterical. I also think over the top comedy is brilliant though. However, I could certainly see why someone wouldn't find it funny. It's extremely ridiculous and over the top. To each their own.
