Vancouver, BC suggestions
Posted by Palmetto08 on 4/17/24 at 3:44 pm
Traveling to Vancouver April 28 - 2nd staying at the Fairmont Pacific Rim.
Does anyone have specific tips on nice restaurants, bars, things to do/see. Possible day trips outside the city? Aside from one day of meetings I have no plans.
Thanks for your time!...

Not sure who you're traveling with or what your plans are, but this little bar right on the beach is a great place to have some beers and people watch. Food isn't bad either.

I've traveled to Greenwood several times for business. Cool downtown and the Alluvian/Giardina's is awesome but I don't see how the boutique stores along the main strip stay open. The downtown was dead except for some really nice clothing and antique stores.

St Augustine yard - dead areas
Posted by Palmetto08 on 3/16/24 at 5:48 pm
I've got about five or six small dead areas in my St Augustine yard. They vary from one to 3 feet wide. They are very big spots.
I'm pretty sure it was sod worms that killed it. I've thrown out insect killer in the entire yard and removed small weeds from the dead areas. No signs of worms and ...
re: Willis/Wade Hearing Day 4 - Closing Arguments

Judge has a lot of questions Sadow's closing argument - the money, Willis/Bradley/Wade's truthfulness, Willis/Wade relationship and now forensic misconduct. Judge doesn't seem to be swayed.
It will be interesting to see how many times the Judge questions the State during their closing.

The Judge doesn't seem too interested in his presentation. Judge's pack of gum comment was odd.

Can someone suggest some fun things to do with kids in Dana Point? We'll be there next week for two days before heading to LA for the Rose Bowl.
