lol

How dumb can an owner be, to let his GM push JH out.

It's already crumbling.

I remember York mocking harbaugh on twitter right before he was hired over contract stuff. Too many egos out there and they booted the guy who could win them football games.

I liked that story they leaked last year where they said Harbraugh lost the team because he wouldn't let them play cards on the team plane. Lulz

There's no "the" problem. It's multiple parties.

Also, bad example to use a story re Kap, that's Harbaugh's dude.

They also had like 18 guys retire this past offseason. Most of them still young.

Most disgruntled younger players ask for trades, not retirement.

The amount of early retirees is probably as big of impact as Harbaugh being there.

Harbaugh, imo, fricked up when he sat Alex Smith.

The 49ers were so good that year they were going to the SuperBowl.

Kap has never had the rapport with Vernon Davis that he should have.

Alex Smith is an awfully limited QB himself

Alex Smith was/is no better quarterback than Kap. I do agree that Vernon Davis wasn't well utilized.

The league could and should take steps to protect and support the running quarterback.

The problems still remain. As Jay Glazer of FOX reported Sunday, the team still believes Kaepernick has a high level of talent. However, “he’s struggling [with] confidence.” Glazer also said that Kaepernick “keeps to himself and is kind of on an island,” making it harder for teammates to help build his confidence.

He just needs his beats headphones and "I'm the man" to play.

At that time, he was slightly better, imo. Alex isn't going to make mistakes. That offense worked pretty well underneath Alex at the time, who was finally in a stable coaching situation.

He was 2 muffed punts from a Super Bowl appearance.

If they do that, they have to do the same for the running back.

he sure was...but the difference there is that Kap is going to shoulder at least some of the SB loss.

Smith deserves none of the blame for the NFC title loss. His play got them to the NFC title game, got his team off to a great start and was on pace to have a career year.

but Harbaugh and co were just waiting to put in Kap and probably to his detriment.

The 49ers ownership did all they could to put a competitive product on the field not to win the Superbowl, but to get a new stadium. The 49ers ownership will likely get the same amount of money whether their team wins or loses and they are in that new stadium. The 49ers ownership is basically pimping their fans. Once they got the new stadium they could care less about Harbaugh.

yep - and Del Rio has the Raiders playing like it is the late 70's. Two years ago this would have been a rib splitting laugher.
