I would become a Lebron fan if he did this again. It would be hilarious.

You'd have to think it says he's leaving.

Really a sucky spot for him.

It's difficult to feel sorry for him given that his hands are on most of the moves that put them in this spot. Players need to play and GMs need to GM.

With age, do you think he is capable of this?

Getting a GM and HC who do not listen to him or "take orders". Star players have to make suggestions or maybe let a GM know, "I fricking hate that guy. Could never play with him." But if you are saying that about several players, then you are the problem.

LeBron is like The Yankees. I don't mind him winning another title or two, but I want him to suffer for it. He's due. Doesn't look like this year, but he has payed enough.

Hahaha you're an idiot. His jump shot has actually gotten worse with age. Once he can no longer bully guys out of the way he will be almost worthless scoring wise.

It will be difficult because he's always been like this, somewhat defiant to coaching/management. It's a fricked up situation all around.

Miami was really the best place for him because the organization was rock solid and they were able to get him to submit to coaching. As much as he tried, he wasn't not going to continue to flex against Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra. In his Miami career he ended up playing the best basketball of his life because they possessed the human capital capable of fully harnessing his talent. Problem is I don't think Lebron realizes why that happened. He probably thinks it was all him.

Cleveland had to pretty much give him the keys to everything to get him to come back. When you do that, I don't know how you go back and tell him that he doesn't have free reign.

With Pat Riley, Miami was like Yale/Harvard, but Lebron preferred the party school that Cleveland is because he doesn't have to do homework, he can pick his teachers, all of his friends are in his classes.

I don't doubt that Lebron wants to be great. He just wants to do it his way and not an organization's way.

The question is why can't he get nba elites to join him in Ohio? Bosh and Wade got him to Miami, yet the goat of this generation can't get more than Kevin Love and JR fricking Smith?

Such as?

Most of the "elites" are locked down by organizations. It takes two to tango. Minnesota desperately wanted to offload Kevin Love because he wasn't going to re-sign with them, which is retrospect should be a huge red flag.

Stars that have been traded under similar circumstances in recent memory are James Harden and Dwight Howard.

Tell me TJ- if you're Wade, with a hundred million dollars or so, a smoking hot wife and a warm fun city where you're possibly the most beloved citizen why the frick would you move to Cleveland for a paycut (and state taxes) just to have a slightly better shot at a title.

It's not like Wade is a guy with 0 rings going to a near lock.

Right- here's the "elites" he may have a shot at- Durant (best option he already defers at times to Russ, problem-- there are like 5 better options for him ranging from staying in OKC to GS to Boston) ; Noel or Okafor (Noel would actually help a ton) ; Joe Johnson; Harrison Barnes; maybe Carmelo (though his wife would probably veto that shite) ; maybe Horford or Noah (though deep down I want them in OKC) ; Avery Bradley (for Love) ; CJ McCollum (for Love- bring him home) .

Forgot to add Dwight- you know the one superstar of LeBron's generation who developed even less offensively than Lebron has.

Will he no. Should he, yes.

The Tristan Thompson contract is about the dumbest thing ever. He hustles hard. That's it. Lol.

Seriously, its actually hard to see anyone other than Lebron who would start on Golden State.

Kyrie vs Steph- Lol

Klay vs JR- Lol

LeBron vs. Barnes- Lol

Draymond vs Love- Offensively close and if Love was on another team maybe it goes the other way until we look at defense and Lol

Bogut vs. Thompson- Close again but Bogut is a substantially better rim protector.

Compelling evidence there.

LeBron is one of the hardest working players in the league. When he feels his physical presence is no longer his strong suit, he will develop his game accordingly.

At no point in Lebron's career will he become worthless.

Some of you kids on here, I swear

Because it's Cleveland

If you can't see the difference between someone being enticed to Miami and someone being enticed to Cleveland, then I'm not sure what to say.

What? Did you just start watching basketball? LeBron's shooting has regressed in Cleveland, but he became a very good shooter in Miami. He's also developed a low post game (needs to use it more). To say he hadn't progressed offensively is as ignorant as those that Curry is only a shooter.

seriously if you make over $1M a year and have the choice to spend half that year in miami or cleveland you're a moron if you pick cle. Lebron had to pick it bc its his home town and he burned 1000 bridges to leave it.

Lol nobody in their twilight wants to live in clev, hell the whole premise of the miami MLS team is the hopes that one day some retired european stars who live in miami will play for that team, beckham mentioned it in one of his speeches. You think any of those retired european stars wanna play for the houston dynamo?

Miami,LA,NYC are desirable places to live.....clev is not. Thats what makes kobe's career so crazy is he was in the most gorgeous place to live/play and nobody wanted to join him lol they had to get pau by trade and draft bynum. I cant think of one marquee name who willingly joined kobe. The lakers are gonna be able to pick and choose who they want these coming years. Lebron is never getting any help in clev.
