If the Cavs lose the Finals? The Cavs have so many bad contracts on that team. They would be bad for a long time if he left.

He'd be a good guy to spell Draymond off the bench in a couple of years- he has the money already take the MLE

I don't think he would because he can be coach/GM and Klutch Sports rings up the cash register off of Gilbert. Plus, some people speculate there is kind of a handshake deal about future ownership.

Cleveland would be so fricked. You don't lose your best player, your coach and your GM and expect to bounce back

Decision 2 might push him beyond Comic Sans-- a nasty letter in Wing Dings perhaps.

I hope he does, I don't want the city of Cleveland to win anything.

He should. They don't know how to build a team.

I don't really think their contract situation is really bad.

Love and Irving have value and are tradeable assets.

Thompson is overpaid, but he isn't a bad player and the impact of his contract on the cap will drastically reduce soon. He is definitely a part of the team's future though. LOL

The worst contract is by far Shumpert. He just isn't great and is overpaid.

The biggest problem with Cleveland is it is not going to be more than an aging vet's FA destination. Lebron will also make them too good to ever improve their odds on making impactful draft selections.

Really a sucky spot for him.

It's difficult to feel sorry for him given that his hands are on most of the moves that put them in this spot. Players need to play and GMs need to GM.
