Your so called opinion isn't "humble", it''s stupid.

After you go drink acid, please hook up with a team, such as Michigan, that has turned into a real dumpster fire like LSU was from 1989-1994, keep backing said dumpster fire through 5 or 6 straight losing seasons and them come back and tell us all about how bad a guy who has won 80% of his games at LSU "irks" your dumb arse!

You have no history or credibility Sparky, so please feel free to shut you pie hole and let the adults talk......

Moron!

There are reports on various Michigan sites that Hoke and Nussmeir and the AD Dave Brandon got into a fight in the postgame locker room.

Similar to Saban not making the jump to Texas, I just don't see Les making the jump this late in his career. Les is 60 years old and it takes a few years to get a program going ---- even one with a great tradition like Michigan.

Meanwhile, LSU is shaping up to be a national title contender in 2015 with the young guys they have now and the next recruiting class coming in. Plus, with Urban Meyer at Ohio State, Michigan State becoming a Top 10 team and Franklin killing in recruiting at Penn State, Michigan's not an easy rebuilding job any more.

I still think they need to throw a blank check at one of the Harbaugh Brothers. I wouldn't dismiss John Harbaugh leaving Baltimore after the Ray Rice fiasco, plus he's won a Super Bowl.

how bad a guy who has won 80% of his games at LSU

And yet has zero BCS wins since Mich pushed Carr out

No 'elite' program wants to settle for mediocrity. Even Texas, as bad as their search was, still hired a guy that had won a BCS bowl game in he recent past

John Harbaugh wouldn't be much worse of a hire than his brother, in my view. He also has less of an ego, but big egos are usually a sign of good coaching.

John Harbaugh is the guy

I think a lot changed for him when it came out he wanted to cut rice and the owner over ruled him

Jim Harbaugh will stay in the NFL
Michigan needs a younger guy than miles and miles has real family concerns now with his sons in HS in BTR

Even before the ray rice deal, John Supposedly indicated that he would take the Michigan job if offered. This was reported last year, I believe.

The big problem with John is that he has never been a college head coach. He wouldn't be able to get recruits.

Why would he be?

Why wouldn't he be? Despite one's opinion of Miles, he's a perfect fit at Michigan, and has the sparkling resume to go along with that "Michigan Man fit."

We'll see what happens, but it's just silly talk to think Les Miles and Michigan wouldn't both take a good look at one another once that position comes open. They have before (when Miles didn't have as solid of a track record as as he does now), and they will again. They'll have some targets higher on their wish list than Miles, as would I, but barring Harbaugh or Saban taking the job, les miles will certainly be one of the main candidates for the job.

Would they actually offer? Would he accept? Who knows....but he will definitely be one of the couple names in the hat, without question.

Brandon will have to go first

Sexton would only talk to his replacement. Too much bad blood with Brandon and no one of high value will want that job under Brandon

Pete Carrol did ok at USC with less pedigree than john harbaugh

why wouldn't john Harbaugh surround himself with proven college coaches and an ace recruiting guy?

Everyone who wants les to leave for michigan is stupid. Why do you want to get rid of the first coach in our history to average 10 win seasons every year. Won a championship and played for another and consistently brings in top recruiting classes. When you want him gone just as yourself if you really trust Alleva to make a better hire than what we have.

So please make all these miles to Michigan threads stop.

They have Sunbelt level guys now.

There are some 5* guys like Shane Morris and Jabrill Peppers. They probably could have used Peppers yesterday.

Most of the talent they have though is just not showing up on the field, and Hoke should be accountable there.
