A huge number of border police are Hispanic. I would love to hear Trump share his opinion with the majority of the border patrol (at the actual border) I've interacted with.

Still, I don't think Trump asked how many rapists crossed the border last night.
I'm guessing more rapes are done by drunk college students than illegal immigrants. I don't have sources but this is not the speech where I announce that I'm running for president.

For starters, Mexican isn't a race. And again, given the context of that portion of the speech he's referring to examples of criminal activity of those crossing our southern border illegally.

Had Trump said " We get a lot of good immigrants from Mexico through legal channels, but we are still getting too many illegal immigrants who are career criminals, drug dealers, and generally bad for our society, therefore we need serious immigration reform." he probably gets little flack from anyone. But of course that's not the Donald's style.

And one other thing about the "liberal media." The "liberal media" in the United States for the most part are subsidiaries of some of the largest corporations in the United States and beyond. Do you think that the CEOs and management of those corporations are liberals? If they are in fact "liberal," it's because that's how they maximize their profits. You think their management is going to stay employed and their stockholders will be satisfied if they're not making money? And I thought you guys were okay with that. Every business is great and should run freely without criticism and and government control except the ones I'm afraid of. That's the richest of all.
