It's pretty stupid LSU plays Wisconsin in Houston but they get LSU in their home state.

Tulane won't be playing there anymore, plus the amount of money to be made for a kick off game is much>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Than any Tulane game...

I imagine that will change when they get their own stadium. Who knows though.

You say that like there aren't enough LSU fans in this area to put a good crowd in the Superdome. Playing an hour from campus and keeping money in the state is better than playing four hours away out of state.

every fricking student that gets tickets to the game will be down in the quarter, getting drunk off of hand grenades. we play a team like Texas in the Super dome, the bring their oil money over her and spend baby spend.

Yeah it would be cool to keep the money in the state.

And no way Houston has more lsu than BR. That's just dumb.

I've been for a kickoff game I'm Nola for a long time. I hate playing cupcakes and the first few homes games are way too uncomfortable to tailgate in. Give me the bars until it cools down a bit

I should have said LSU alumnni, and it isn't dumb at all. Houston has more people than the entire state of Louisiana. Houston is the largest alumni base. BR may be third

If ULL can fill that stadium, we should be able to fill it 3 times over.

They better schedule it quick. The way NOLA is going, tourists won't be able to get t-shirts.

Also the idea of playing games in Texas to help with recruiting is extremely over stated. It isn't 1960 anymore where the only way to watch a school was in person. Almost every LSU game is broadcast across the country. LSU's recruiting power was already as strong as it's ever been in east Texas before LSU started playing games in Arlington. And now Houston.

Meh.

Madison to Green Bay is about 2 1/2 hours.

BR to Houston is 4.

The greater N.o. sports comm. is working on it as we speak. But, it takes a lot of $ to "buy off" two very good teams. they'll get their act together soon and are prob. already in "talks" with LSU about 2020 or sooner, and ANOTHER LSU "home" game will be sold...just like a hooker by a pimp...follow the $...lol
