There's more than just travel time. Economic impact, convenience, not being in Houston.

If you aren't talking about travel time then what are you talking about with "convenience" and "not being in Houston"?

I love how you think LSU is covering up the amount of money we reap from these games or something. Like the money shouldn't be a motivating factor. Guess what - It's a lot of money and they aren't ashamed to admit it.

For the 2389042374234th time, LSU athletics are a business.

It's pretty stupid LSU plays Wisconsin in Houston but they get LSU in their home state.

Stupid is anyone who thinks this is stupid! LSU is very savvy about scheduling those kickoff games to get maximum exposure for their brand. If you notice, LSU usually plays in areas they want to recruit, but in which they don't get enough exposure. Very smart!

You said more LSU. I assume you mean more LSU fans or alums.

You need me to explain to you how it is stupid that you think there are A LOT more LSU fans/alums in Houston than in Baton Rouge?

Think the dome only has 77,000 seats, may be a consideration somehow.

I would agree with you but then we would both be wrong. Let's just talk about how the Dome would be the best place for LSU to play on the first weekend in September. Personally I don't mind sitting in a dome with AC compared to sitting in TS with 100+ degree heat

Trust me, I KNOW it's all about the $. That does not mean I have to always like it...I'd like to have a decent OOC opponent IN TIGER STADIUM...why is that sooooo difficult for you to understand ?

I think reliant and the georgia dome hold between 70-72,000. The Dome only holds 72,000 now
