Well it strengthens my argument bc it clearly indicates how superior a player LeBron is relative to his peers and the competition in basketball today is much better than MJ's time because of the evolution of strength and training programs, basketball camps, better equipment, more advanced footwear and technology, advancements in medical science and dieting, etc.

Hey that's what makes Jordan Jordan and Lebron Lebron. The unmatched competitiveness and will to win that Jordan had was super human. Unmatched by anyone. And that's not a knock on Lebron. He just wasn't born with it. Natural god given taken. Lebron got him beat. Will to win? Competetiveness? Is where Jordan separates himself from ALL other players.

Jordan's presents would have made larry Hughes into pippen. Pippen was nothing if not a product of Jordan's unmatched will to compete and win.

Then just last season, the playoffs started and a great many on this board, in the media, wherever, were all saying this was the best chance Lebron has to lose before the Finals in the last 7 years.

Everybody knew that was bullshite, though. You and me included

The bulk of the best players in the world and thereby the bulk of the better teams have played in the Western Conference since Lebron started his Finals run. I don't think that's revisionist history at all.

Hell, while the Warriors were going to absolute war with the Thunder in the 2016 WCF, the Cavs were playing the Raptors. The Dubs basically ran out of gas in the finals - I'm of the belief that Lebron might have one less ring if the Thunder didn't soften them up a little first.

No, no. You and me knew that and posted LOLs at those who said the Wizards would take them out, but a great many actually believed it, make no mistake about it.

And since LeBron was clearly superior to his peers in the most advanced era of basketball and led his teams past those 50 win East teams over multiple years clearly disproves your point about the East being "weak."

Truth bubba. Lebron is more naturally talented. Jordan had the superior mental makeup.

Dude, the East was undoubtedly weak. There's really no arguing against that.

Let's test your argument huh? If the East is "undoubtedly weak," then why'd more East teams finish with a .500+ record in 2017 than West teams(top-heavy)? 9(East) to 8(West). Can't be weak if one conference has less sucky teams compared to its counterpart.

Well, the evidence shows that every season that MJ played a full season between his first title and his second retirement, he won a title.

If MJ had played a full season in 94-95, they aren't the 5 seed, and likely would have had home court advantage over the Magic. Even if they didn't, they wouldn't have faced the Magic until the ECF, if the Magic got past Knicks.

That argument has a great many holes in it right off the bat.

Was Jordan even that valuable at that point? I mean he retires a month before the 1994 season begins, essentially holding the Bulls hostage from acquiring someone in FA after the threepeat with all the retirement rumors, they settle for acquiring Pete Myers and they don't even drop off winning 55 games led by Scottie, Horace and BJ. They're within a blown Hue Hollins call of defeating the Knicks and advancing to the conference finals. LeBron leaves Cleveland in 2010, that team immediately sucks donkey dick, LeBron leaves Miami in 2014, they immediately become a losing team with a declining D-Wade and Bosh. LeBron's presence on a team can immediately affect that team's trajectory as relates to potential team performance, it's that influential.

Prove it then, Mr. East is Undoubtedly Weak. The West was top heavy and the bottom half was mediocre to putrid, the East was more competitive thus translating to more .500+ teams it balances itself out that simple. These MJ lovers LOVE falling into traps.

Why doesn't anyone mention the reason MJ retired was because he was mentally fried in basketball and needed a break?

How can a conference be "undoubtedly weak" when I just presented evidence that more teams in the East were successful than teams in the West this past season? 9 to 8, I thought the East was supposed to be "undoubtedly weak," your argument certainly collapsed on itself.

If you don't see why that argument sucks or understand that the East is an inferior Conference, then nothing I say is going to sway you.
