If the PI is against our team College. If it is against the opposing team NFL.

I just don't like the fact that a QB can underthrow a ball against good coverage and get a PI call every time just because the WR is looking at the ball and the DB is not.

I like the spot of the foul but I like how they don't call it every other play in college.

College rule is better.

Can you imagine the air raid and spread offenses taking advantage of all the PI calls they already get if you were to add in spot of the foul?? It would be absolutely insane and completely change the way the game is played. Those teams already chunk the ball up 50 times a game hoping for the 15 yard penalty, I don't even want to think about how much more they'd pass with a chance to get free yardage on spot fouls.

The best PI possible would be a combination of the two. It should be 15 yards unless it's a flagrant, deliberate mugging, which should be a spot foul. Kinda like running into the kicker or roughing the kicker.

Yep, been my thoughts for a long time.

Spot of the foul is bullshite especially considering how ticky tack most PI calls are nowadays, so college

Agreed. If they actually let the DBs play, I'd say spot foul is right. But they don't, so its not.

I think 10 yards for holding is too steep, too.
