David Ortiz is the one you have a problem with? He is known as Big Papi in multiple countries. How may people know Tyrann as the Honey Badger anymore outside of SEC states?

Thread was great as in cool nicknames to me. Not the most popular

Lots of these are more well known, but that's because the players are better, not necessarily the nickname.

Red Mamba for Brian Scalabrine makes me laugh every time.

The Dragon.
Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon.
The Korean Zombie.
Hector "Macho" Camacho.
Earl "The Goat" Manigault.
The Bash Brothers.

Just randomly listing other nicknames I like.

Any nickname with “Big” in it doesn’t deserve to be on the list. Lacks originality.

Isn't he related to Lawrence Berra, Jay Dean, and George Ruth?

Honestly the Honey Badger sucks on its own. TM7 made it so great. He was the perfect fit.

I mean the same hairstyle was just the icing on the cake!

Good times! I don’t think many really appreciated what we all witnessed that season.

Fun fact, back in the day Perry caught hell for reporting to camp at 330. Nowadays that's only about 15 pounds above the AVERAGE lineman weight.
