Laughing at 2 HOF? But you think a guy who could go is better?

So you really think Moon nor Aikman wouldn't rip the NFL up?

Not sure where he is in NFL but at the moment he's still 3rd in GB history.. I do believe he will finish his career undisputed #1 though..

Aaron Rodgers could quit football right now and his career is better than Warren Moon's.

Warren Moon?

I was just checking out his stats, and holy shite did he throw a lot of picks. He had a couple really good years though.

These discussions are kind of tough to have unless you define what they're being ranked on. Stats? Yearly averages? MVPs? Super Bowls?

I think he is hands down the most talented QB the Packers have ever had and its not all that close. Favre was incredibly talented, tough as nails, guts, super arm. But Rodgers is just at another level. His mistakes are a fraction of what Favre used to commit.

Moon was awesome, but nothing compared to Rodgers. Aikman compared to Rodgers is a damn joke though

Make your case. You can not make one and you know it.

Different eras and rules make it impossible.

Rodgers will match or pass Warren's TD total next season and will do it with half the passing yards.

I just don't think you realize how incredible Rodgers is.

And if you think Troy Aikman is a better QB than Aaron Rodgers then there is nothing we will agree on in this discussion.

It's not difficult.

It took Warren Moon almost 15 years as a starting quarterback to reach 290 touchdown passes, but he also threw an incredible amount of interceptions with a relatively low completion percentage.

In contrast, Aaron Rodgers has needed less than eight seasons to near 240 touchdown passes and has tossed less than 60 career interceptions. Assuming he doesn't nosedive, we might not see a quarterback with a TD:INT ratio like Rodgers again. Rodgers also has a couple MVPs to his name.

There is no comparison with Aikman and Rodgers. The two, in terms of quarterbacking, aren't in the same stratosphere.

ETA: of course, if "different eras" and "different rules" make it impossible to compare quarterbacks, we should just halt all conversation about every sport's greatest individual athletes. So, what the frick is the point of this topic?
