Yes, "different rules" will allow Rodgers to reach Moon's TD total in about 20,000 less passing yards.

Rodgers is on pace to shatter TD/Int ratio and QB Ratings records.

He's also #3 all-time completion % with a single season best that ranks just 21st all time. His consistency is amazing.

Give him just 5 more years he will have in the neighborhood of 400 TD passes and 48K yards.

Assuming no major injury and he still has the drive to play, then he could play till he's 40, which is 9 more years, I think.

Even though this is the easiest era for QB's he is still outperforming his peers in several statistical categories.

I'd argue he has been the best QB the last 4 years.

Needs a ring or two more and then it won't be a debate.

True.

Packer fans probably couldn't care what his TD/INT ratio is if he can't take us to as many Super Bowl's as Brett Favre did or win as many championships as Bart Starr did, he'll be just another Packer great. Not the greatest.

You can argue he is top 10 in NFL history and best in GB history.

But you can also argue he's 30 or below in NFL and 3rd best in GB history.

Im not sure but I would say he is top 20 all time and 2nd in GB history.

We talking QBs or all positions?

To be fair, the pack would have made it to the SB last year if not for a stupid coach and a stupider special teams player.

But winning SBs is honestly a silly argument for best QBs.

You never hear of Bradshaw being top 10 or 20.

And Marino is always a top-10 consideration.

Nah. Aaron Rodgers may play at the most important position, but it's only one position. And he can't play defense.

That's fine, and yes, as a Green Bay-born diehard Packer fan, I know as well as anyone it's all about the Lombardi trophy. But I feel like that's an overrated aspect to judge QBs on. Average QBs have won a super bowl (Trent Dilfer, Joe Flacco come to mind), but amazing QBs like Rodgers also only have one or none. Simple fact is that there are so many other factors that influence whether or not a team wins it all.

In the case of the Packers, it's been the shite-tastic performance of the defense. Rodgers can only do so much. In his playoff losses the defense has given up 51 (they still almost won that game), 37, 45, 23, and 28 points. Aside from maybe the 23 point effort, that's awful. Yet people will say Rodgers sucks in the playoffs (Colin Cowherd comes to mind as one).

I was speaking as a Packer fan.. This is Rodgers' 8th season starting and he's won 2 MVPs and gotten to 1 Super Bowl. In Favre's first 8 seasons he had 3 MVP's and 2 Super Bowl appearances. It'll take more than the best TD/INT ratio ever to pass Favre.

Right, but those Super Bowl teams were some of the best in Packer history. These Packer teams have been damn good, and this offense could be one of the best the NFL has seen in a while, but not historically great. The 15-1 season was close, but that defense still struggled and they attained that record largely because of Rodgers being super human. He makes those offensive players better (Greg Jennings and James Jones being exhibits A and B).

Just saying it won't be a debate at that point.

People ooze all over rings in the modern era.

Right now you have Montana and Brady firmly atop the GOAT convo.

If Rodgers just pulled some magic and got one more, it would be hard to not include him/make him the undisputed GOAT.

I just want him to win one more so he's 100% out of Favre's shadow in spite of what all the stats show.

I don't like the Packers but I don't mind seeing Aaron Rodgers getting what he deserves.

That's cool, but don't blame Rodgers for not making the SB last year. He was seriously let down at the end of regulation in that game. I mean, Rodgers did his job and deserved that second SB appearance.

I think the majority of this board does not realize how great those Champ teams in the 60's were... I know they had basically the same team for years but the other teams KNEW what was coming and just could not stop it.... Bart Starr was the MASTER of game management.......

They were unreal, but I will admit that that was such a different game. Pre-free agency, a different type of player, a different type of game. But yes, they were legendarily good for that time.

My mom used to sell beers at Lambeau during some of those games.
