Chalk this up as an ADD/prisoner-of-the-moment thread.
no its not

When you look at the Warriors franchise resume, it's surprising how well it actually compares to other franchises. People act like the bulls, or the sixers, or the Pistons have been this consistent winner throughout all of the NBA but that couldn't be further from the truth. There have only been three consistent winners in the NBAs history and that's the lakers, celtics, and the spurs. After that, it's pretty debatable

How consistent have the Warriors been throughout NBA history? They were basically the Clippers a few short years ago.

About as consistent as the bulls and the Pistons and the sixers. The bulls history is absolutely propped up by the ridiculousness of MJ and who knows, the Warriors may be about to go on that same level of run

No it isn't. The Warriors have won one championship in 45 years. That's bad, real bad. They've also been in the league longer than majority of other franchises, their last NBA championship before last year was before multiple franchises came about. What a pathetic thread.

I'd say a top 10 franchise, not a top 5 franchise.

Except the Warriors have never come close to winning 6 titles in 8 years, so there's that.

Also the Warriors have a 47% winning percentage, which is in the bottom half of the NBA.

as of now? sure. but i think there should be something said about a franchise who hasnt been able to get more than one championship group going. the bulls have a higher place than the warriors do right now but i dont think thats going to last for much longer

their winning percentage is whats holding them back. but its not like other franchise that people like to throw around, like the pistons and the sixers, have great winning percentages either. the pistons are 19th in winning percentage, the sixers are 11th

Has only been in the league for 28 years, have the 9th best winning percentage and have made it to the finals 5 times (won 3).......once again in 28 years. Not to shabby

i thought being 20th in winning percentage was shitty. is 19th that much better?

the pistons entered the league in 1949, they played in 2 finals between then and 1988. they played in 5 NBA finals between 1949 and 2003

At any rate it's debatable on who you would replace Miami with. Maybe Detroit, philly, or the Knicks

I can agree with this......
