And why shouldn't he get a vote or many more for that matter. Look at the job he's done given the raw deal circumstances. He's surprised and excelled; his detractors are going to need to find a new hobby.

Considering the job he and staff did, he deserves mention. I don't think Miles was COY I think London at UVa or Hoke deserved it.

He sure surprised me when that (for what 'raw deal circumstances' you want to argue ) stacked USC team lost to that awful Arizona State team.

You say a 2 loss and 4 loss coach deserve it over Coach Miles? A guy who had MULTIPLE distractions before the season and during. A guy who's team is under probation watch and a relatively young squad. A guy who beat multiple ranked teams and is the ONLY team in the ENTIRE NCAA to be undefeated.
Maybe those guys would have a case if they had 1 loss or no losses.. but come the hell on. Coach Miles is hands down the coach of the year and it's not even close.
Beating 3 teams in the top 5 AND winning an SEC championship game against it's 8th ranked opponent.

I don't hate Kiffin. The above poster's history and agenda on this board is quite transparent, though.
