SL/CL '09 was one of the best atmospheres I've ever seen for a high school game. Two teams who hadn't "been there" in quite some time playing for a district title and home playoff game in week 10. Also one of the most heated rivalries in 4/5A

riverside and st. Charles had about 7k in attendance this year according to the radio broadcast that night.

East Ascension student section is raucus.
Went there a couple years ago for a basketball playoff, and it was as intense as anything I've ever seen for basketball in this state. There wasn't a seat in the place, had to put fans on the stage; our visiting section wasn't overly large, and full. But damn, it was loud.
B.M. draws good crowds wherever we go, but the student section doesn't always "bring it" and in Tad Gormley, they're somewhat lost even when they do.
Archbishop Rummel at Yenni is always full.

Video from Riverside/St Charles game
People always, ALWAYS over estimate attendance. This is a big crowd, but there's no way this is 7k That stadium is small and there's not many standing around the fence. People would be shocked to see what 7k actually looks like. I went to a Hahnville/Destrehan game where they were 3-4 deep around the track and the estimated attendance was only 7500. You take all those people from that game and stick them in St Charles Stadium and you wouldn't even be able to move. It would feel like Bourbon on Mardi Gras.

West Monroe and Byrd at the top for sure.

Sure you don't mean Ascension Episcopal by Lafayette, because unless things have changed in the past 5-10 years ACHS always had a pretty good following for a 1A school with 150-175 students.
