i'll concur with West Monroe and Lutcher...

i don't think ours is where we need to be, but we also don't have any home playoff games since Katrina

Best/Biggest crowds in NOLA area for these football games...

Jesuit/Rummel
Rummel/BM
Jesuit/BM

Years ago the Jesuit/HC, St.Aug/McD35, and Jesuit/St.Aug crowds used to be huge.

I'll throw a random small school out there. We played Elton once in the playoffs and they brought the whole damn town.

St. Thomas Aquinas impressed me too when we played them this year.

The Thibodaux crowd during a basketball at my school was not only big, but very raucous.

Byrd vs Captain Shreve used to be a big draw. Byrd still has a large following but no one gives a shite about Shreve anymore.

Week in and week out I would have to agree.
Karr & Landry-Walker when they play each other is packed and Rummel gets some good crowds.

For a school of its size....Haynesville packs their stadium.

I went to the WM vs. Evangel game in '01 that got right at 30K for a regular season game...pretty cool being at that game.

Yeah Baw. Playing in front of the Cardinal Crazies was awesome. We had by far the best student section

Went to AC K-9. When my dad coached there and they made the quarterfinals in 05 and 06 in Bball they had to host country day in a bigger gym because all of Donaldsonville wanted to go. Their little crappy gym holds like 500

No atmosphere for any high school football game in Louisiana compares to Saint Amant verses EA. When those two get together, there are 12,000 insane fans making mayhem in the stands...plus there's jambalaya

Podunk town in the middle of North Louisiana checking in here. The Winnfield Tigers always have great support and travel very well

The bigger publics that are usually good like WM, Barbe, Acadiana, Destrehan, Hahnville, Dutchtown and some of the Northshore schools draw big crowds and travel.
Jesuit, BM, Rummel, St. Aug, St. Thomas More, Catholic High all have big followings.

I've only been to Acadiana once so I don't know if it's the norm, but the first round game this year we brought about the same amount of fans as they had. The home side was half empty.

You'd also have to add South Lafourche & Central Lafourche. With two of the biggest stadiums in the state the home side is always packed even when we suck, and overflow to the visitors side for big games/homecoming games. This is the crowd at an 0-5 Central game.

Thibodaux is packed when they're winning, when they're losing tumble weeds roll across the bleachers.

There is no way in hell either of those schools could fit 12,000 fans in their stadium, especially EA.

It is a huge game though. I'd invite you to a Hahnville/Destrehan game, CL/SL game, before you say no atmosphere compares.

I was really surprised how empty Jesuit's side of Yenni was when they played Rummel in the quarter finals...

It was probably 2/3's filled.....
