That to me would be the worst. Not because they got beat, but the way that last drive went down and then the PAC 12 refs just botching the last drive and (I still believe they purposely would not allow) not getting the play off.

21-0 or game 7 when Mariano gave up the game winning run to Arizona.

game 6 ALCS in 2011 tied with the 2012 Bama game
edit: not 1/9. the second game in 2012 hit me way harder than the Natty for some reason

at the time... when the Saints lost to the Browns in 1999 on a last second hail mary. That was a super shitty season and the lowest point I've ever had as a Saints fan. I felt like we'd always be crap at that moment.
Kevin Johnson caught the TD pass to win? I will remember this because it was a horrible loss, but I had KJ on my fantasy team.

I'm sure it has been mentioned multiple times in this thread, but my #1 was witnessing LSU lose to Bama in the Dome, then watching #2 on TV as probably the best team in Saints history lost to the Niners in the divisional round. What a terrible 6 days.
The worst part is realizing that I will never have another fall where both my teams are that good at the same time. They were a combined 27-5

Seems odd, considering Boston throttled LA. It's not like y'all were going there and winning two in a row anyway.
For me...
2004 ALCS Game 4
2012 LSU vs. Florida
2014 PGA Championship (Phil)
2013 NBA Finals Game 6
2010 NBA Finals Game 7
2012 Australian Open (Rafa)

Saints-49ers playoff game.
To add some old games. The playoff losses to Philly and Atlanta. That's when I learned, being a Saints fan, was often going to be painful.
But bartending on Bourbon on Feb. 7th, 2010, made up for all of it.

Wasn't a drop. Just broke on it really late.
1/9/12 is default for a Tiger fan, I guess, but when I think about getting the Giants in the dome for the NFCCG, the '11 playoff loss to the 49ers stings just as much if not more.

2003 NLCS Game 6. The Bartman thing sucked, but moreso the way the team just imploded following that play. Tough to see your team get that close.

1/9/12 was the most miserable 4 hours of my life. But it almost didn't feel real. I think I was almost in more shock and disbelief at what I was seeing than anger.
The Saints playoff loss to San Fran was probably the biggest punch to the gut I've felt as a fan. And it hurts worse in hindsight knowing that we would have hosted the NFC Championship game.
The fact that those two games were 5 days apart made it so much worse

1 Strike AWAY! Was coming to post this...
i grew up taking an annual 4 hour trip to Arlington to watch a game with my dad every year. we went to nolan's last game, first week of the Ballpark in Arlington. Lots of memories there.
i had him queued up to call with 1 strike left and then that happened. i never made the call.
the next morning my mom called to tell me that he had a heart attack and passed away that night. we never got to celebrate that moment together and it's one of my great regrets in life. just imagine if he had made it and we got to enjoy that together before he had died.
not really. we just texted a bunch of cuss words back and forth, knew exactly what each other meant and never talked about it again.

Game 6. 2013 NBA Finals. Ray Allen's three pointer.
That one hurt ya boi irl Had to reevaluate how I watched sports after that.
I mean, they were roping off the court to present the Spurs the trophy. You can see it in the picture. Was going to go down as probably SA's best Finals win ever, and they were gonna do it in the road. Got the rug yanked out from under 'em on basically the last possible possession because of a freak rebound.
