1. Bird stealing the Isiah pass in '87.
2. Horry three on Rasheed.
3. Michigan punter melt this year.

doesn't gel with

what was the worst loss you have ever dealt with? im talking about the type of loss that leaves you asking yourself, "why do i even bother with this sports stuff"

for me. then again, i cant really think of one that does.

the really terrible wtf losses like ucf in the bowl game or georgia tech last year are relatively easy to get over because the team just wasnt that good.

outside of georgia, i guess kansas' losses to northern iowa and vcu were both very wtf worthy and both incredibly disheartening as kansas was stacked both times.

John Stockton's buzzer beater to down the Rockets in the Conference Finals was tough to take as an 8-year old kid.

1/9/12 sucked because it was the most I've dropped on a ticket for a sporting event

Game Seven 2000 NBA Western Conference Finals Portland Trailblazers Versus Los Angeles Lakers

Always was a huge Pippen fan as a kid growing up. Wanted him to get just one more ring than Jordan. That Blazers team would have smoked anyone coming out of the East that year as well.

Thank you for not mentioning the foul. I still want to kick my dog over that.

I don't get this. I get being attached to a soccer team but if you aren't surrounded by opposing fans how can loss really suck that bad?

It has to be 1.9.2012 for LSU fans. I don't get too invested in the success of "my" teams, but even that one hurt.

Brad Lidge getting his career ended by Albert Pujols in the NLCS was bad because you knew the series was over at that point

2005? Houston won Game 6 to win that series. One of my favorite sports moments.

Well... without much thought:

- Blair Walsh missed FG vs. SEA
- Brett Favre INT vs. NO
- Gary Anderson missed FG vs. ATL
- Wisconsin (basketball) loss vs. Duke in Nat'l Championship
- Wisconsin (football) loss @ ASU
- Wisconsin (football) loss @ Michigan State
- Wisconsin (football) losses against TCU and Oregon in back-to-back Rose Bowls

These (except Gary Anderson missed FG) are all recent, and I dealt with all horribly.

2012 SEC title game

2005 AFC title game vs Steelers

Super Bowl XLVIII would have been worse if it hadn't been made so clear that Seattle was just superior.

Joey Devine vs. Astros

I would never be over this. Feel bad for my Minnesota relatives.

I normally don't give a rats arse about Texas teams, but that 2011 World Series was as cruel as they come.
