What happened to Willie Snead? Oh yeah, Drew Brees.

combination of scheme change, qb change, and the injury, even though he wasn't lighting it up that much before the injury for them

in general, I think teams have realized how to play him in a non drew brees offense

Scheme is 80%. Payton got him in mismatches downfield all day long. In Seattle he's running 5 yard outs all day.

AND he doesn't appear to enjoy life as much as Gronk...but that may not be relevant.

Wilson was still depending on the run, and they asked Jimmy to block constantly.

A little while after Jimmy got hurt, they really opened up the offense (Rawls I think got hurt too?) and Wilson started passing like crazy.

Even if Stephone Anthony never becomes anything more than 2 down lber, saints won that trade easily.

Graham unfortunately suffered an injury that is close to career ending

Jimmy Graham's descent into irrelevance is just another testament to Brees' greatness. He literally makes receivers great. Do you think Colston would have had those numbers without Brees? Doubtful. Now he's turning Snead into a monster right before our eyes.
