A whole bunch of MJ ones. A few Lebron ones. A couple of Shaq ones. And 1 for Chris Paul.

I would argue Chris Paul over Kobe in 2008.

Was that the year the Hornets/Pels beat the Spurs in the playoffs?

I disagree, and The Dream should have won the MVP in 1995. I'm sure David Robinson remembers getting embarrassed in the WCF that year.

I disagree with a lot of that. Barkley, Hakeem, AI all deserve their mvps

They(Pels/Hornets) lost to them(Spurs) in 7 games in the 2nd round that year.

lol no

giving it to Malone the year before just because they were tired of giving it to Jordan every year was the worst

I disagree

..................PTS...REB...AST...STL...BLK....FG%....PER....WS...WS/48
Olajuwon.....27.3....11.9....3.6.....1.6.....3.7......52.8....25.3....14.3....210
Robinson.....29.8....10.7....4.8.....1.7.....3.3......50.7....30.7....20.0....296

The PER, Win Share, and Win Share Per 48 minutes are all SIGNIFICANTLY better than Hakeem's that year.

Robinson led the NBA in:

Points Per Game
Player Efficiency Rating
Usage Percentage
Offensive Win Shares
Win Shares
Win Shares Per 48 Minutes
Box Plus/Minus
Offensive Box Plus/Minus
Value Over Replacement Player

He led the Spurs to 55 wins as opposed to the 58 wins the Rockets had that year.

Head to Head, the Spurs were 3-2 against the Rockets

Head to Head against Hakeem in the 93-94 season:

..................PTS...REB...AST...STL...BLK
Olajuwon.....24.2....12.6....4.8....1.2.....3.0
Robinson.....26.6....14.2....5.4....2.2.....3.0

Robinson also was named NBA player of the week 5 different times that season while Hakeem won the award just twice.

Robinson was the better player that season

David Robinson is really underrated and sometimes doesn't get the credit he deserves

not biased at all. that was a lifetime MVP for kobe and it was bullshite because now CP won't ever win one

LINK

there's the stats for that year. CP had him on basically everything but PPG. CP kicks kobe's arse in everything advanced

this. Malone in 97 over MJ was a travesty

Jordan should have won it in 93 too over Barkley

Pels were the 2 seed by 1 game. I wasn't aware the prereq for MVP was being a member of the 1 seed. Your point?

They were also one game from the 6 seed.

Right because MVP hasn't come from a #1 seeded team damn near 80% of the time for the last decade + or anything.

Wrong. Shaq is who got robbed not Dirk

Wrong. Again Shaq is who got robbed not Malone

1978 MVP- Bill Walton

Should have been Kareem, who finished 4th in voting that year
Wrong. The Lakers won 45 games Kareem was playing with HOFers Jamal Wilkes and Adrian Dantley + an elite supporting cast. This team along with 79 Lakers are the most underachieving teams in NBA history.

Kareem was basically an even worse version of what Harden was this year
