You don't understand why fans of a team would want their best player to win the MVP?

Are you retarded?

Harden when he was with OKC averaged 1 assist more at home with OKC than on the road.

False

He averaged 2.5 at home with OKC vs 2.4 on the road.

Try and represent it accurately

Keep ignoring the relevant stats I've posted since they don't fit your narrative

Harden was not a "star" type player his rookie and sophomore season with OKC.

OKC doesn't inflate everyone's stats. They selectively do it with their star players. Harden was a 6th man winner in his 3rd season and helped him with some home cooking.

I'm just saying OKC's statkeepers do help him a bit. That's just reality.

I don't disagree entirely and it's certainly possible but the actual reality is that you haven't proven anything.

No. Worrying about what some sportswriters who you probably hate anyway think, I'd file that as questionable thinking.

But please, continue with the name calling, it's how I know you're rustled.

And yet in that same season, westbrook averaged an 5.5 both home and away

You failed to post the splits when Harden actually left OKC too for some reason....

It's regular season. What else is there to pull for other than MVP. setting offensive records. Etc. Certainly we would rather 53 wins and a MVP than 55 wins and no MVP. 2 reg season wins mean nothing. Im a big picture guy. MVP is a big picture kinda award.

So in order to discredit Westbrook's MVP argument, Houston posters have resorted to arguing the minimally subjective nature of the assist stat.

What if those 2 extra wins got you a better seed?

It's because the same arguments the media used that favored Curry 2 seasons ago against Harden are being used against Harden this year. And the same arguments in favor of Harden 2 seasons ago were dismissed by the media and are now being used in favor of Westbrook this year.
It is almost like the media sucks and pulls stuff out their arse.

Sure

You're the one who brought up your own dick sucking of rockets fans in the first place

Wrong again and can't admit it

Waiting for you to actually start discussing the topic in this thread

That's every year bro. When you got a guy in the MVP race and squad threatening to set all time team offensive rankings it adds a lil juice to the reg season.
