I don't think so. Honestly the dude is balling out of his mind. It's not like he's some outsider. He's had an unreal season, I just think Harden has had a better year. They are statically so close, but Harden has been more efficient and has more wins.

Why does he have to make "make his teammates better" to be MVP?

With a better supporting cast.

But at the end of the day, I still like Harden and am cool either way.

Just would find it HILARIOUS with some of the guarentees made on this board by the usuals.

That leads to more wins?

And I'll go ahead and leave the conversation now. This thread ain't going to have many reasonable posts in it, just a bunch of retards with lame troll attempts fishing for upvotes.

lol harden shouldnt be mentioned in same sentence as westbrook. Dont get me wrong, harden is good. He is in top half of yhe tier 2 players. But shouldnt be mentioned with bron, westbrook, kd, leonard.

Harden is having an amazing season. Let's not go off the reservation here.

MVP always goes to elite player on elite team. That's what the award is.

Harden maybe the best offensive season in league history. Great argument for it in my link.

CC third best record in the league. OKC net rating of 1. Lots of voters won't vote for a bottom half of the table teams player.

Well I wouldn't have guessed your real name is Kelly, but I'm glad to see you have a platform for everybody else to be graced with your unbiased opinions regarding Houston Rockets basketball.

I'd be surprised if boom, port, and Dabigfella have a total of 2 junior college years between them.

Here's a great article.

A) The Westbrook comparison is ignorant and "potential assists" numbers are hocus pocus type of metrics. The total points score/created metric is close, and Westbrook is responsible for 51% of the points the Thunder score per game while Harden is responsible for 49% of the points Houston scores.

B) Those metrics only account for offensive numbers. Box plus/minus shows that Westbrook is significantly more valuable to his team overall than Harden is to the Rockets.

C)
quote:

At a glance, James seems to be a lot more efficient, but Harden’s true shooting percentage (62.0) is pretty close to idenitical to LeBron’s (62.1). James has .4 more rebounds, but Harden has 2.5 more assists and 3.4 more points.

I thought it was well known that "James" meant Harden in NBA circles? Apparently the author of that "great" article didn't get the memo.

After the way you got your arse handed to you the other day, you sure you want to go this route again? I don't see rolltide or pride around to provide that reassurance.
