The irony is they are pumping Seattle because Az QB's suck so bad, but Seattle's QB is unproven. That's just crazy to me. I could see picking Seattle in pick 'em, but having them as the bet best is insanity. Az will not go 0-16.

Any thoughts on Green Bay (-5) vs San Fran?

Saints torched them (SF) at home and only gave up points because of ridiculous botched plays on defense. I'm thinking with an entire off season to prepare and motivation from an early exit last season, Rodgers is gonna take it to them. Thoughts?

Alright, I'm in at NO -7.

I can't imagine RGIII and the redskins keeping it from being a double digit game. Prove me right Saints!!!

I like GB to win that game but wouldn't lay the points and don't think the Money line has value at -240.

If I get drunk and clean up on my Saints noon bet I might put money on Packers money line but hopefully I'm smart and chill out before the big Sunday Night game.

ETA - Parlaying the Packers on a 10 point (with Saints and Detroit) might be the best way to do something with that game. They all fit in on the Wong shite if you can get Detroit down up to +3.5. Detroit at only +3 might be too risky though b/c a push loses on 3 teamers.

I guess I'm just optimistic

Probably not a good trait to have when betting sports.

Marshawn Lynch is not a lock to play on Sunday (back spasms). If he is unable to go, it looks like the Seahawks would go with the rookie Robert Turbin as the starter. So not only would you have a rookie QB, you'd have a rookie RB going as well. Sounds like a potential clusterfrick to me

or maybe not. Either way, I'm not touching this game

Thats pretty much where I'm at. I've already put 2.5 units on the Saints at -8.5, and am tempted to put a bit more at -7. I really need to see how those bets play out before I start looking at other games. This early in the season, 2.5 units is pretty big bet for me but I feel great about that game at that spread.

Saints down to -7 vs Redskins at home. I may have to throw another unit on this.

I already have 2.5 units on it (-8.5). I'm gonna wait to see if it drops below 7 before I bet anymore.

bump for gameday

My favorite sports reporter of all time Warner Wolf predicted a 24-20 win for the giants tonight, at times last season it was scary how accurate he was predicting games

That being said he is a jets fan and always seems to be down on the giants. I have a good feeling about the game even though super bowl winning teams the following season seem to fair as well.

I'm gonna wait to see what the line does up around gam time before I make a play.. but definitely leaning giants.

Y'all are a lot more confident about this game than I am, but I have hardly looked at it. Just from first glance I like the saints, but not enough to make a play yet.. anybody got any reason I should make a play?

I'm one of the big Skins fans on this board. The Saints game scares the shite out of me because of our secondary. Its awful. Our front seven is one of the best in the league though. My brain says 41-24 Saints, heart says 24-20 Saints. Skins seem to always bring their A game against the Saints. The X factor really is Griffin.

1 - Rookie QB
2 - On the road
3 - At the Dome (arguably the best homefiled in the NFL)
4 - Washington secondary is awful
5 - Saints play stellar after controversy (see Katrina)
6 - Drew Brees

If Brees can do what he did to Frisco on the road last year, he can do it at home against a lesser defense. No offense to any Washington fans.

So he basically reports the Vegas spread and total in score format?

I think you're a quality poster, but come on man!

Lambeau field is #1 in the NFL

At times i would agree with this and other times not. Saints nation will be out to prove a point week 1. The dome will be ROCKING sunday with a goodell attitude. Saints are gonna blow the shite outta the skins. They will play up big time from bounty gate.

Lambeau and Chiefs stadiums are pretty solid. I don't think that outside of Louisiana people are calling the dome #1

He did not say it was the best stadium in the NFL or best gameday expirience. He said arguably best home field advantage.
