We might see jump shooting teams win both the NBA and NCAA titles

The Warriors are the clear favorites to repeat as NBA champs, and OU is #1 with the best player in the country and as good a shot as anyone to win the tourney. Both would set records for most threes taken and hit by championship teams at their respective levels in history.
Conventional basketball wisdom could get a real kick in the arse this year.

I don't think OU can survive in the tourney with the way they play. The tourney setting is way different from playing 7 game series

OU doesn't have the best player in the country though.
I think OU is a Final Four team
ETA: the best player in the NCAA isn't an Austrailian either.

Ou is going to be one of this high seeded teams that could either go all the way or lose in the first two rounds, completely unpredictable. The Warriors however only have two or three actual threats..
So yes, it's possible..

Ben Simmons is the better pro prospect but Buddy Hield is the best player in college basketball

I think Hield is best scorer but not best player Hendo
Did UL beat UTA today?

I have a huge crush on Hield.
Cajuns won 90-75. 6 wins in a row

They kicked our arse when we still sucked. Play again at home on Feb. 13

Is Marlin well liked there? He's got to be better than the guy who was there when I was doing my internship.

If that Oklahoma team is #1 in the country, college basketball is in worse shape than I thought.

OU won't make the Final Four.

I don't think Oklahoma is that unpredictable at all. Not sure why people think they are losing early or are some streaky team. They might not end up making the final four but they are almost definitely making the sweet 16.

Don't get me wrong, OU is lethal when Buddy Hield is on. But all it takes is an off night for him and the Sooners are not a top 10 team. They are just as likely to win it all as they are to get bounced round two
