Thanks, I'll look that up. I was just trying to figure out how much of an arse he had to be to management or something to fire a guy after going to a game 7 and losing. Obviously, they needed to get over a hump the FO didn't think he could and Kerr did just fine.

Not really. That isn't a bad comparison at all. You also need to throw in that both teams have coaches who are considered player coaches. Both Kerr & Carroll mesh well with their players. Didn't Kerr fly across the country, visiting each individual player on the Warriors at their homes when he was hired?

Yip even flew to Australia to see Bogut, although that's a great excuse for a vacation on the company dime.

I know many of the players were upset Jackson was fired so this was really smart on Kerr's behave. You won't see a coach normally do something like that. He thought outside of the box. Those are things "special" individual in their field do.
