Shame Harden was sooo off tonight to somewhat tarnish the great playoff run he has had. Dude is a warrior and very much so a deserving MVP candidate.

Great season by the Rockets. They were a lot of fun to watch this year. No shame in losing the semi finals

NO sir, that game 6 comeback was an all time great comeback by HOU. One of my favorite sports moments of all time.

That was a fun one. I was drinking heavily in that 3rd quarter

Can one of you guys splice together Harden's 13 turnovers? TIA.

very disappointing way to lose, harden just looked like his mind was elsewhere...like he just saw last week's GOT episode was wondering why D&D fricked up GRRM's book version or something like that.

Yes it always sucks to lose when you don't play your best game. James handles were just off, as bad as I've ever seen them.

when you have more turnovers than FG attempts, it's a horrible night.

it's like he put up 45 in game 4 and said i'm done, let's get ready to golf.

Harden did step it up this year compared to previous years, a lot of people give him flack for the few bad games, but overall he had a strong year.

His first 2 years with houston:
Shooting 38.3/31.6/84.5
Averaged: 5.7 RPG, 5.2 APG, 2.0 SPG, 0.6 BPG, 4.0 TOV, 26.6 PPG

This year with houston:
Shooting 43.9/38.3/91.6
Averaged: 5.7 RPG, 7.5 APG, 1.6 SPG, 0.4 BPG, 4.6 TOV, 27.2 PPG

Given that last offseason was a "disaster," I'd say they acquitted themselves nicely this season. Some important decisions to make this offseason with Smith, Brewer and Beverley. I'll be interested to see what Morey has planned to take the team to the next level.

And LOL at fans of cellar dwelling teams in this thread trolling as usual.

Nice to see that this amazing season by the rockets (reaching the CF at least) has been done by the Pistons 6 times over the last 12 years.

getting over the first round hump was huge, psychologically. not to play moral victories or anything of the sort, but it really was a big victory for the organization.

now the next step is to put the pieces together to actually become a contender.

They were a contender. 2nd best team in the league at the seasons end. No way they lose to Cleveland. Tbh a lot of it comes down to luck with injuries. Look at what happened to OKC this year, that could be GSW or HOU next year.
