The source told ESPN.com that no opponent or venue has been chosen. The D.C. area has several potential sites to host the game, including Nationals Park, RFK Stadium and FedEx Field. T

As a season ticket holder, if they put it in Baltimore, I will be beyond pissed...

I like Camden Yards...but it needs to be in DC...

This Winter Classic stuff is cool, but they need to put one in Canada.

It would be cool to be in Edmonton or Calgary on New Year's Day and watch them play in 2 degree below zero weather.

Though it's an absolute dump, I think hosting it in RFK would be awesome.

I was not aware of that. I only see the one that's every year on NBC.

What happens if they have a warm day. I have seen it get to 60 in Richmond in early January. And DC is not much further north.

The year they did it in Pittsburgh it got a little warm.

They need to do it at night. Not sure what bowl games they would go against but it would be best at night.

They've had an outdoor hockey game in Las Vegas before (not a winter classic) so heat isn't the issue, humidity is.
