Have you seen the women in Hamilton? They're desperate and 18 yr old they can train. Win win for the 18 yr old.

Rob Lowe in Youngblood comes to mind.

Possible Block buster deals coming soon.

Oshie/Berglund/Cole/Steen/Petro/etc All rumored to be part of deals with Boston and Edmonton.

We'll see if they end up happening, but Boston has talked to Army every day for past 2 weeks about a deal.

Also, be nice to see Fabbri in a Blue note next season, he nearly won a job as an 18 year old this season. Kid could be really special. He has been very good for Team Canada so far at the Juniors tourney.

TJ Oshie in Boston? his knuckles are too high off the ice for that squad. They literally would not know what to do with him. Would be like putting Tom Brady in a Paul Johnson triple option offense.

Oshie would look great in Blue Blanc et Rouge

That has a C and H in mid sweater not the diagonal crap that goon team from that filthy city wears

Oshie is an American hero. He belongs in the nation's capitol.

Lord knows what we'd have to give up to get him. Plus our cap situation probably couldn't absorb TJ's salary

No he belongs in the greatest franchise in North American Sports with the ghost of the past passing the torch to him.

Damn it Gunslinger you would have to bring us back to reality. Team him with Maxi on other wing, the carnage would be amazing.

Don't look now (no one else has - haha attendance jokes), but the Stars have won 6 of 7, and people other than Tyler Seguin have figured out how to score.

The bad news is the month of January is about to start. Last season Dallas lost 8 of 9 to start the new year, something they barely recovered from to make the playoffs.

The Penguins injuries/mumps issues have finally caught up to them, and the team is spiraling, even a Crosby goal tonight couldn't spark them. 100 man games lost in December alone, we'll catch CBJ in no time at this pace for tops in the league.

But, wtf do you do? We know how good the Pens are at full strength, probably your top seed in the East. So do you just do nothing, knowing that within the next month-ish, all of these guys will be back? Maatta, Ehrhoff, Martin, Downie, Hornqvist, Comeau, Adams, and Bennett will all be back within the next month, Dupuis is done for the year. Downie will be any game now from mumps, Hornqvist is 2-3 weeks, Comeau is 2-3 weeks, Ehroff is 2 weeks, Maatta is a month, Adams any day, Martin few weeks.

This makes it much more difficult to make a trade, because we want to get a solid top 2 line winger and maybe another B6 player, but all 3 of our trade chips are defensemen and they're all 3 playing right now because of the injuries to Ehroff, Martin, and Maatta.

ALSO: Pens are to begin talking with Ehrhoff's agent "soon" to talk extension. Knew it. frick yes, him and Letang for a few more years.

Cheer up hog y'all will make the playoffs and that's the only thing that matters at this point in the season.

Rangers stars game hurt tonight. Kari played well, the rangers not so much. Got 30 shots off but lost too many crucial face offs and got out hit. King isn't as looking as royal as he used to. Hopefully he can turn it around

Nashville 1 point out of first place in the division. Traded Roy for Arcobello - didn't see either one happening

Christian Ehrhoff, Beau Bennett, and Craig Adams return to the Penguins lineup tonight! Hope is restored!

Still no Downie though from the mumps, must have gotten it worse than Sid he's now been out longer and more games than Sid was from it.

Crosby-Malkin starting on line 1 together too, but with Rust? Lol k.

Foligno signs 6-year, $33-million extension. I like it. A little overpayment, perhaps, but I'd rather that than have him walk.

Hog, as much as I hate your monotonous Pens talk, nice to have you back...Thought you might take a leave of absence during this losing streak, but they will turn it around.

Just remember you have Crosby, Malkin, MAF, and Letang, you will be straight.

What games are you guys watching tonight? Preds are off so looking to see what everyone else is tuned into. Probably gonna switch between Ducks-Sharks and Stars-Coyotes

Nah I was just busy last week out of town for the Holidays and then the Arkansas bowl game, didn't get to watch any of those losses so I'll take that as a good thing.

Honestly, might not be seeing too much puck with it being NYE...I will be fully ready to go tomorrow and watch my Caps play the Blackhawks.

I'm monitoring StubHub to see if tickets get to my price point. There is a chance that glare delays the game (unless that has changed in the last 4 hours). I'm not expecting a W against Chicago...but I'm stoked to see the city I cheer for on display. Hopefully we don't disappoint.

Quick search if I was watching hockey tonight, I would be tuned into the Maple Leafs & Bruins matchup.

My boss is a giant Devils fan and thought for sure he'd go there in the off season

Happy for Nick, he's been awesome this year.

CBJ/Wild all at 0 in the 1st.

On a side note the dark green wild uniforms are the best in the league. Yea I said it come fight me.

ETA: CBJ have now killed 24 penalties in a row
