He could probably win a major if his focus was right…. He has got the talent but seems messed up in the head.

Querrey over Busta in straight sets

I only started following tennis the past couple years, am I wrong to think Isner under performs in every slam? Seems like he sure loses early and often for a top 30 guy

Well, he is old now. I think he was in the top 10 at one point and has carved out a decent career. His defect on grass is that his return is so bad. That match with Mahut was a nightmare scenario of two guys serving well and poor returning.

Big Sam has a nice opportunity work his way through that half. Big Foe looks like he will advance.

He has made the 3rd round or better (the seeded rounds) in 28 out of 38 grand slam attempts since cracking the top 30

Katie Boulter is certainly one to watch. Shame she lost first round.

This was the very first pic I came across when I did a search earlier today.

Well she doesn't have nudes out there so when you typed "Katie Boulter nude" I'm sure this is what pulled up.

No, it was just just "Boulter tennis." I didn't expect to see a camel on something that tame.

Good for him.

Sebi is through.

I like Murray and it's nice to see him back, but he shouldn't have been on Centre Court today. I didn't have a problem with it when he was playing a seeded player the other day and because he hadn't played in a while. But, Roland Garros and Wimbledon really pull strings on the show courts for their countrymen.

You saying it doesn’t happen here? I haven’t paid enough attention to compare each of the slams, but I thought all 4 went overboard in that regard.

The only time I think they push it here is with someone like Coco who may not have earned their chops. I just felt like give it a rest on this round with Murray, then put him back when he is playing seeded guys. No big deal. The crowd is as jacked up as you will ever see there, though, so it is fun to watch.

I disagree. This match is so much more fun than watching Djokovic wipe someone off the court in an hour and a half.

Hell yeah. I thought Murray was in trouble when he slipped. Looked like that might be enough to derail him but he fought through it.

Then Roger loses to Grass-kay and the Fedtards commit mass suicide.

Got the morning off so I'm gonna clutter this thread with match previews and other useless information, and we'll see how much shite I can get wrong.

We have 3 early matches on the men's side. Weather looks very British... 64 with 60% humidity and overcast. It's hard to get a good feel for things since the last Wimbledon was 2019 and these warm-up tourneys play a little differently in terms of the weather and the grass.

I'm taking Polmans to beat Garin and Nishioka over Bedene. Both are dogs and I'm just hoping for one win.

Garin is a clay specialist and surely has no visions of making a deep run in this tournament. I like to fade those types because at the first sign of adversity their mind starts drifting to clay tourneys. He may be the better overall player but he's not -300 better.

Bedene is more of an all-courter but I think he prefers clay. He has some creativity but doesn't do anything special. Nishioka is a counter puncher so it's not the optimal matchup, but he can also set up and finish points when he needs to. I definitely don't think he should be a 2 to 1 dog to Bedene.

Not much to say about Zverev/Sandgren. Taking 3-1 Alex at +260 and just hoping Tennys is on fire for a set. Can't imagine him winning the match, but I'll be rooting for it.

When you see a dude rocking this, you can bet he's really white and probably doesn't mind playing on grass.
