Was coming here to ask you something similar. It makes sense to hang around if a Novak injury gives you a path to a title, but man... if he can't beat guys like Mannarino these days...
ETA: Of course we've thought this many times, and he has proven us wrong. shite it was only 2 years ago that he had 2 match points on serve against the soon-to-be-consensus GOAT.
