I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. The courts are slick early in the tournament. I know they have some systems to take the humidity out of the air, but playing indoors probably doesn't help.

I mean, I’m sure she’d be better if she lost 15ish or so.
But also, she’s not as young as she used to be so obviously it’s not as easy.

She’s done……. She will play the U S Open just to try it and if she does well then great , but she is done….. Fed is done too… would not surprise me if he lost within the next two rounds.

In the case of an Osaka-less draw, she is still good enough to slip up and run into a championship. I totally agree about Fed, I'll hate it when he's gone, but I can't see him winning another crown that requires best of five to get it done. Now that serve has slipped from beyond-elite status, he doesn't have enough to beat the best anymore.
