I enjoy watching boxing as much as I do MMA. But I can't stand the MMA vs. boxing argument because it's usually by boxing fans that can't respect the differences between the two.
My opinion. I'm sure I'm wrong.

So are you getting nervous? If Toney can fight half as good as he talks, he's gonna kill Couture

I wasn't until I realized he was 47. I was thinking he was 45. Good god he's old!!!

But really, who cares? My dad's not bigger than your dad and couldn't kick his arse. There, I said it. I enjoy watching both and don't care what people have to say about which is better and who is tougher.

Way too many defensive MMA fans.

THIS.

Smack, Max, ramp, ufownssec, all are waaay to defensive with mma. I comment on the topic because I do watch it. I will watch it nearly everytime it's on, except when it conflicts with boxing. ( like this weekend )

Any thing outside of praise for the sport will get you ridiculed by those posters and a few others.

Oh well though, sometimes it gets interesting.

This shite is funny. You said the last PPV event was horrible and kept sticking to it being the worst event ever eventhough every single fight was great.

That is your opinion. Not mine, I gave my view and you gave yours. That's how this message board is supposed to work.

Smack, where was the flaming? You brought up your same shite from weeks ago about me not posting my comment in your thread. It obviously left a lasting impression with you because you are still broken hearted about it or you are female.

I'm just trying to figure out why you can't let it go.

Looks like we were all wrong about Jake Shields getting a chance to fight for the #1 contender spot next. Dana White confirms winner of Fitch vs. Alves gets next title shot at 170

Yea I would think its because with the filming of TUF it will be forever by the time Shields gets to face the winner of St. Pierre-Koscheck.

Yeah, but I thought Shields was going to fight the winner of Fitch vs. Alves for the # 1 spot, now it looks like Shields will have atleast 2 fights before he gets his shot

OK I read that wrong. I was thinking that Shields would face the winner of those two. So I guess everyone gets two shots each at St.Pierre.
