Looks like a great card on paper, I hope the fights live up to the last PPV's quality.

I believe in Sonnen too. Silva will run away all fight and it will cost him a judge's decision IMO

Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen

Played this last night on UFC Undisputed 2010 and pasted Sonnen in 45 seconds.

When the frick has Anderson ran from anyone all fight? If Sonnen is aggressive in the stand up he will get fricking murdered. lol. Now that said, if Sonnen gets Anderson on the ground with top position, I think he has the skill set to finish it. He is just talking so much shite about taking the fight to Anderson, I don't see how he can try and make it a ground fight without looking like a MASSIVE pussy.

cursing to make a point doesn't help. did you see his last fight? he was deducted a point for non-engagement i believe. the last fight i can remember him being "aggressive" was vs Griffin.

You mean 2 fights ago, after he was bashed by everyone for an unimpressive title fight?

Hmmmm, sounds familiar

***********LISTEN UP***********

Looks like some of the UFC pay-per-view pirates may be walking the plank sooner rather than later.

Ustream.tv recently complied with a subpoena issued on behalf of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) requesting the IP addresses of users illegally broadcasting pay-per-view events through the live streaming site, NewTeeVee confirms.

"Ustream was subpoenaed by UFC via Zuffa earlier this year to provide identifiable information on certain broadcasters, which Ustream fully complied with in a timely manner. Ustream continues to work cohesively with our premium content partners to prevent piracy, including UFC to legally stream officially-sanctioned UFC events.”

Not coincidentally, the Ustream gang has also added a new copyright protection system to help deter future content crooks from trying to cheat the world's largest fight promotion.

Justin.tv, also named in the Zuffa copyright subpoena, has yet to respond.

I'm thinking if they can get those ipaddresses they can come after the people viewing it illegally also.

Forest griffin was the last person to go after silva.

Sonnen will most definitely try to take the fight to the ground immediately. Silva is really really strong and explosive with good defense from the bottom, so i don't see Sonnen finishing the fight unless he can gnp silva for 3-4 rounds and completely gas him.

I hope silva hurts sonnen and makes him scared to come forward, and then dances the rest of the fight. I wanna see if DW will really cut him. Cutting him would be idiotic, but it would create the perfect opportunity to force him to move up a weight class or two.

As far as the fight, sonnen has no shot.

Those fights were against ground only guys. Guys that Sonnen is basically calling out for the way they fought Anderson. Which leads me to believe he will look like a jack arse if he does the same damn thing.

Sonnen tries to bring the fight to Silva, which means KTFO in the 1st, no later than 2nd.

Sonnen's pretty much a one-dimensional ground guy. but you do have a point. another run away no action fight from Anderson may be his last in the ufc.

Sorry I lost the other thread but you guys think there was some early stoppage in the last UFC fight with Tyson and Vladamir? I was watching with some non-MMA fans and I was doing my best to justify it.
