Four games.
Some people get caught up with who it is rather than what he did. I don't think it's some big crime but he broke the rules. If you break the rules you get punished, doesn't matter who you are.
If this were someone with a less than stellar image, everyone would be out for blood.

How ever many games it takes to keep the Pats cheating asses out of the playoffs.

I agree with you, 2 games is fair.
If the refs couldn't feel it while touching the ball for 60+ plays, then it shouldn't be more than 4 games, but I think 2.

Two obstacles remain:
1. Kraft's gonna Kraft
2. NBC's gonna throw a fit if Brady and Bell miss the season opener
These two have to be appeased before the punishment.

i think 8 games
the NFL doesn't want to, but it has to set a precedent for obstructing an investigation by a player. if the NFL gives him minor 1-2 game suspension, then they know it will open the floodgates to complete stalling and obstruction the next time something comes up
i mean Hardy got 10 games when the charges were dismissed b/c he is perceived to have "bought off" the victim, which is completely legal

i think if mercedes lewis obstructed an NFL investigation he gets 16 games. since it's brady and the pats, he gets 8

I think it'll be 4 games, he'll appeal and have it reduced to 2 games.
Maybe the appeal decision will occur after the first game of the season, so he would be eligible for that
