It probably is a narrative being pushed by the Titans to eliminate any discussion of a QB controversy. Mettenberger is the better QB right now. They've got to keep the heat off of him as long as possible.

Roto has done quite a 180 on Mett since the draft. They dogged him daily pre draft

The writers at rotoworld definitely find themselves with an agenda at times. Some of their opinion sections get pretty funny during the seasons
I can't remember who it was but a couple seasons back they had a runningback that came out of nowhere to be really good that year and every week the blurbs would say something like "he ran for 150 yards and 2 TDs, but it's probably a fluke. Don't expect much from here on out, he doesn't have that much talent"
That went on for like 10 weeks before they finally switched out of nowhere to "he's one of the best fantasy Runningbacks in the league!"
