Do you really think black people are going on message boards starting "Yeah--I really agree with what Jemele Hill said today" threads?

You don't actually believe no black people agree with her?

ESPN is going after the daytime demographic hard. And we all know who is watching during that time.

Because we want to watch sports. And that was supposed to be a channel to watch sports and at least sports related TV.

What in the hell are they gonna air in the middle of July that's gonna draw viewership?

FirstTake has always been proof of that.

Who?

Because, unless your answer is "a statistically significant number of Hispanics", you may be wrong.

It's, what, a 1 hour show on a 24 hour hour network that has multiple other 24 hour networks under their umbrella while competing with multiple other 24 hour sports channels.

I think we'll be just fine giving up an hour. Just don't watch, not a big deal.

Jemele Hill is on TV and gets ratings because white people are too stupid to realize they're being trolled. So they set their schedule or their DVRs so they can hate-watch her and tattle on her to the MSB with "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT JEMELE HILL SAID TODAY." And you think it's HILARIOUS when Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter trolled Democrats and black people but you're too ignorant to realize they're doing it to you too. Do you really think black people are going on message boards starting "Yeah--I really agree with what Jemele Hill said today" threads? I honestly never thought this way, but it's true. I am a democrat and I probably won't watch this show, but I bet a bunch of people here freaking out about it will.

And it's definitely not just republicans. I frequently go to Poli Board and watch Trump clips just to fill some strange hate impulse lol.

I guess it's reassuring to bitch about the most extreme version of the other argument. Allows you to ignore everything they say.

You haven't noticed ESPN is much more about politics than it is sports now?

But I am really curious to find out what people's meaning of "liberal agenda" is here beyond "shite I personally don't want to watch." Because it seems like people apply "liberal agenda" to things that are more about demographics, marketing, and sometimes flat-out trolling well-to-do white people than they are about politics.

It's insane to me how people see the media as this liberal boogeyman out to eat their children and turn them into Communists.

Just turned ESPN for maybe less than a minute and they're asking Lynn Swan about a run in with police during traffic stop from the 1970's after he was drafted. Holy shite.
