Of all the broadcasting talent in the Disney media conglomerate, this is who they decide to trot out there. There are many more qualified people, white and black, available.

Why are you singling out ESPN? It clearly states "other Disney outlets" as well.

So you're saying I can't watch re-runs of Phineas and Ferb on Disney Channel that night?!

Doesn't even have to be political.

Look at how much EA games suck. Every years there's an easily exploited glitch play. They make customization difficult. They get rid of popular game modes.

Why can't ESPN stay out of politics and race? Why can't they just stick to covering sports?

Why have people lost the ability to change the channel?

I just dont understand how people get worked up over shite they apparently had no intention on watching anyway.

Because we want to watch sports. And that was supposed to be a channel to watch sports and at least sports related TV.

They could easily have held this on something that isn't ESPN, a possible escape from real world issues for some of us.

How you don't understand that is what you should be worried about. This is the channel most of us want to turn to, to turn from the political nonsense.

The president is a smart, interesting guy who is a big sports fan. Why wouldn't ESPN talk to him? What the hell else will they show in mid July? Tiddlywinks?
shite, W Bush owned the Rangers. I wouldn't have had a problem with ESPN getting him on to bullshite about baseball. Same deal with his father.

Exactly. Same reason people get annoyed when they go to a concert and the singer goes off on a political rant.

Or why MTV lost its cool factor. Instead of being about music it showed lame reality shows.

I can't tell if you are saying this sarcastically or serious.

so NSIS.. or how you mean this..

Any ways, no.. ESPN should not be shoving their agendas down our throats. It's their right whatever they want to do, but as a Sports fan I don't have to like or agree with it.. I don't care for political stances during my sports watching.

Sorry.. ESPN has gotten so ridiculously SJW.. it's intolerable.. to the point I quit watching all-together a couple years ago.

Yes, I watch live sports, because I can't help who covers the games.. but I don't care for any of their programming because it's nonstop agendas being pushed.

Of course the resident ESPN defender appears. Ridiculous. Espn doesn't even try to hide their agenda. Thank God for the NFL, MLB and NBA networks.

This week is the deadest of all dead weeks in sports. There is literally nothing going in sports except for some All Star Games, awards shows, and NFL rumors.

Like literally the only thing going on that night is maybe a WNBA game. And god knows that if they showed that SPORTING EVENT, most of you would be bitching about ESPN "shoving their liberal agenda down our throats" too.

So yeah, I defended ESPN. And it's not the first time.

But I am really curious to find out what people's meaning of "liberal agenda" is here beyond "shite I personally don't want to watch." Because it seems like people apply "liberal agenda" to things that are more about demographics, marketing, and sometimes flat-out trolling well-to-do white people than they are about politics.

It's like you take shite personally that has nothing to do with you and your God Complex. It's like you listen to a country station and they play a bunch of Toby Keith/Alan Jackson stuff and then they play ONE Dixie Chicks song and you go off on an "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW LIBERAL THIS STATION IS! GOOOOSSSSHHHH!" rant.

ESPN went the McDonald's route of trying to only cater to blacks.

I will never watch anything she is on again. This sounds like the opposite of something I would want to watch.

Of course I'm the cool edgy guy because I bash ESPN guy has to comment also. My point is Disney made the decision not ESPN alone. Yet people like you do not get ESPN and Disney are just doing what the numbers tell them to do. Everyone singles them out because they're the Yankees, Cowboys, and Alabama of sports TV. Let's find something anything to bash them, yet they're laughing to the bank and get free publicity from people like you.

I doubt Disney is laughing about the current and future financial status of ESPN.

Jemele Hill is on TV and gets ratings because white people are too stupid to realize they're being trolled. So they set their schedule or their DVRs so they can hate-watch her and tattle on her to the MSB with "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT JEMELE HILL SAID TODAY."

And you think it's HILARIOUS when Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter trolled Democrats and black people but you're too ignorant to realize they're doing it to you too.

Do you really think black people are going on message boards starting "Yeah--I really agree with what Jemele Hill said today" threads?

Jemele Hill is empowered by the hate of straight white male sports fans and she'd change her "liberal agenda" shtick the moment it damages the brand that White America helped her create.
