Nats also with the walkoff last night (I think Baloo is O's). I was very close to going to Maryland Live or Charlestown and throwing it all on red after the 3/3 for DC teams.

Really would love to win tonight to get the sweep. I think Detroit and Tampa have 2 more games left to play.

Brooks Laich went on DC radio today and said Wilson's hit was a good penalty to take because the Isles are now down to 5 D-men.
STFU, Brooks. That's reprehensible. You don't cheer another guy's injury. What an utter dick move.

Yeah, I heard that this morning. While we all know it was advantageous for the Caps, I would have answered a little differently than he did.
I still don't think it was that illegal of a hit, just got him in the head area (maybe due to size) and got absolutely destroyed. Plus Wilson's rep doesnt help.
Regardless, Wilson is in the heads of the Isles players.

I wonder how many times a Penguin gets sent to the box for a phantom penalty tonight.

Puck Daddy has a message for Hog:
NHL Player Safety, Selling Ice Cream, Mike Babcock.

3. Conspiracy theories
Finding evidence that the NHL might have screwed up the draft lottery isn't the same thing as finding evidence that the league acted in bad faith. No one outside of Edmonton wanted Connor McDavid in Edmonton.
If you start looking at every screw-up the league makes as evidence that there's a conspiracy to screw [your team] afoot, the world's gonna close in around you awful quick. The NHL screws everything up. That's the default setting. Messing up the draft lottery ball situation is a feature, not a bug.

I have no NHL team being that I'm from Houston but I love watching every single playoff game as well as usually try and bet on games just so I have a team to root for
Point being, I keep up with this thread. There's nothing fricking worse than people complaining about how there's a conspiracy against their team and crying about the refs every single period of every single game. If it's that maddening to you don't watch the fricking game

Well the officiating in the NHL is pretty bad.

And with that said, it's an absolute joy compared to NBA, where you can debate until your eyes bleed about things like the 95 fouls Harden draws a game and the sport is even more affected by officiating than hockey.

Don't watch enough to say one way or the other....but I also believe NBA is horrific and yet my roommate screams at the top of his lungs every single game about how the league office has it out for his team. He doesn't even enjoy watching them play cause he's furious over half the time I try to tell him theyre equally shitty most of the time
ETA: ^^^what he said. Ironically my roommate is a diehard Rockets fan

I dont watch the NBA so I have no idea how the officiating is in that league. I have heard its bad though, but have yet to see it for myself since I dont think I've watched a single game all season.

The Habs are now a fantastic 1 for 15 on the PP
They may as well decline the penalty

Finally, some spice in Sens/Habs. Anderson stuffed a shorthanded breakaway.

Rags with the pile on goal to tie it.
