These Playoffs minus a game or two have been quite boring too.

As if the lack of scoring during the reg season wasn't bad enough, way worse in the playoffs.

Lot of changes coming over the next year or two, and rightfully so.

I love a tight game and great goaltending, but these games tonight have seemed a bit dull. Even the USA announcers said the Habs game was hard to read at one point. Maybe it's because I am flipping around too much or something.

That goal was off a turnover

This game has a bad flow as it seems the good guys are playing not to give up a bad play.

They just did, so hopefully they can react well and score the next 2.

Supposedly increasing the goal size is on the docket this offseason, along with once again decreasing the goalie pad size. Doubt we see either for another year though, but changes are coming and needed.

Increasing goal size is stupid.

How? Everything else they've tried the last 5 years has failed, scoring has dropped every season and that's after decreasing pad size once and eliminating the 2 line pass rule as well decreasing goal size depth. Not much else they can do.

All for it.

They should decrease the depth of the nets first

They then should take away the arc crease and go back to rectangle. Maybe decrease the hexagon.

I just don't see decreasing the depth for a second time making much of a difference, as it didn't the first time...much like everything else they've tried.

The 3v3 reg season OT sounds like it's a go, that will at least help with OT/ROW.

That really seems to be altering a core component of the sport messing with the hardware. I know you're a tennis guy -- would you be OK with them shortening the service box if it was decided that serves were taking over the game? In that case, I'd rather have them go to one serve or something.

SMS, what would depth of the goal do? I dumb.

Now, I think we would all love bigger ice, but that is a logistical and economic issue with the arenas.

That will add a full foot to maneuver that's a lot if space

I think the hexagon will decrease firstl

They also need to call interference and holding the stick like it's written

Eh, tennis isn't lacking growth and being bashed by the media for lack of scoring year after year.

Tennis also hasn't made multiple changes in recent years to try and fix said problem and have them all fail and see scoring decrease even further.

Don't be dumb, they want the average game to have 4-5 goals scored total, versus the 2.5 currently. So a goal or maybe two more per game, which would be perfect.

The scoring champion this year had the least amount of points since 1964
