A lot of really good teams left in 4A

The top 8 seeds have advanced.

I expect the top 4 to advance to the Semi's

Comparing all of their schedules.. If you omit the district games all of these teams have an impressive list of out of district opponents who they have beaten and lost to.

Looking at the LHSAA app for bracket results, it looks like every matchup was decided in 2 games. Not one went 3 games? Or is the app just wrong?

Are the Semi's in sulphur or will that round be at the top seed's home field?

They want an "Event" so as many teams/fans as possible vs a series with only 2-4 schools-if they did multiple classes at the same site.

At least it's not in the abyss that was Zephyr. So many balls crushed there only to be caught at the warning track.

That was my senior year at HC. We lost to the Fighting Tommy Banks' in the semis or there would've been an all Catholic League state championship. BM had a ridiculous run in that tourney. Dave Miller got into a pitcher's dual against Slidell in the quarterfinals and went the whole game. Their reward was having to face Ben Sheets without Miller. They jumped all over him early and got up pretty big. That game was right after ours against WM. The MLB scouts there were ridiculous with Barbier, Sheets, Miller, Banks, and about 5 other guys they were there to see. St. Amant had Sheets and a guy named Jeremy Robertson that were both drafted out of high school It our quarterfinal game we played LaGrange. They had 2 guys in their line up that were drafted out of high school. The talent in that tourney was just silly.

Looks like most of the teams left in 4a and 5a have all traded wins and losses within the class as well as within the other class.

He was only a freshman in the 93 football season.
