Yeah, he definitely played in the 97 Florida game. 
It's similar to people labeling the recruiting classes. The 2015 recruiting class is for the players who finished in 2014. But they graduate school in 2015.

This is more of a post bragging on my nephew so sorry. Does anyone know about LSU baseball commit Brennen Maddox from Fairview High School in Class B. My nephew is pitching against last year's state champs Fairview tomorrow. Monterey lost a close one to Fairview last year in the semifinals.
Monterey is the 1 seed this year. My nephew is 6'4 but only about 175 lbs but a great pitcher. He has touched the low 90's but sits mainly in the high 80's. really good curve. He didn't hit the camp circuit during the offseason or gain any weight so he doesnt have much exposure. He was one of two players to pitch a no hitter in last years playoffs with the other being Manny Miles.
He has no offers at the moment but he definitely has the talent to play college ball.
I would love to know more about the Maddox kid to see how legit he is.

You maybe right and I'm just too biased but with his size and being as dominant as he has been, I just have to think he will get a shot with someone. He may get lit up today by Fairview but he has the ability to shut them down also.

Being at such a small school hes gonna have to do a really small college or juco it up and hope can g from there. kade schiviqoue proved it could be done but i also saw him put in a shite ton of work to even get the lc spot

Problem is Sulphur likely wins unless WM goes off the next 5 outs. So that winner gets Breaux and good luck with that.

Bases loaded 4-6-3 double play is the nail in the coffin. Big hit there and who knows. Sulphur is the best in the state. I don't think anyone can beat them in a series. Unfortunately, semis and finals are 1 game. Good luck, hope you guys win it all. 
Sidenote, has anyone ever won a state championship without having to play a single game away from home? Even the state championships are at Sulphur. Not saying that's why they won, they would have won if the game was on the moon. Just wondering if that has ever happened.
