Kind of feel bad for them. They pretty much depleted their system by sending us a majority of their top prospects AND our major league product is much better.

I was at that game. I would have only been 3 years old. My Dad took a ton of pictures. He even had a photo of these 2 chicks that were a couple of rows up from us fighting. One of them took a broken beer bottle to the face. The story went that security couldn't get to them because they were too busy keeping fans off the field and out of the dugouts. They fought/wrestled around in the glass for a solid 10 minutes. Medical people got there and they didn't want to step in the middle of that. Eventually APD got there and broke it up and handcuffed them both to allow the medics to work on them. The guys that were there with them were apparently cheering them on.

Another funny side story from that trip is that my grandfather, in a wheelchair, was mistaken for George Wallace by some lady in the elevator at Fulton County Stadium. He threatened to whip her arse before the game even started. There must have been something in the air that day.

I'm all for this new approach to hitting but is Markakis actively trying not to hit home runs?

the fact that we are at .500 84 games into the season says a lot about the organization.

before and during spring training I really thought 75 wins was our absolute ceiling

Not all of us wrote them off, and maybe 1 or 2 of us saw this coming...not to brag or anything

I'm starting to feel the same, although we could probably get a pretty sweet deal for him.

There's too many names to list. Obviously Maybin, Pierzynski, Grilli, Jim Johnson, Chris Johnson etc. top the list.

The most annoying thing to me is thatt I am not sure what the end product of this revammp is supposed to look like. You guys know your shite, I watch, like what I see in players and then that player is the one that should be traded. Dammit, I wish I was better educated on this.
